Work in process - Pics

Finishing up the group of knives started for the trial consult I've discussed.

Various pics here taken along the way. The Green Camo is a near mate for the first such Hunter I made a couple of weeks ago. The slightly smaller knife has a great shaped handle that really fits the hand.

Sheathes coming up. Then on to rifles. Cross fingers for this project.

Thanks Kurt,

It is what I call a Crocus Polish. Done on a huge leather wheel. The very very fine compound scratch pattern is visible at just the right angle and light. In the same, you can see the difference in the cellular structure of the steel - caused by very careful application of just the right heat, during tempering.

Thanks Julio.

It's always a matter of time and connections, isn't it. An Artist wants to work. Needs to work. That's counter to the required networking. I have to figure how to do it all, so I'm trying.

Thanks my friend.
