When I wrote my title, I was thinking only Stateside readers would celebrate the 4th. But, of course, many of our readers are elsewhere and appreciate the tradition. Let's see ....

Who am I forgetting ....?

I hope everyone had a safe and enjoyable 4th. We had some family and friends over...while our neighbor launched big mortars and other fireworks for over two hours! They were better than the county fireworks display. Can't imagine what it must have cost.

It doesn't even start getting dark until after 10:00 pm this time of year, they don't start setting off fireworks till midnight. Just couldn't stay awake this time around.
