Sunday Progress - heat treating, dies, parts, finishing work

You can see progress, especially on the Copper Barnes Patent Knife.

I also hardened the blade for the 4 bolster engraved 97, and the lock spring for this Copper Folder.

Note the nice Deep 3-D Barnes Coined Brass Shields. This knife will really appeal to those who are Mechanically Minded. It will feature several different metals nicely blending their tones and function.

Hope you enjoy seeing it come to life.

Time for Dinner. Kelly is away, but she left me a quality MRE!

Gary

Hey .... I had that great Chowder again the other night! Might have to post a pic I took, it looked so good!

Hi Gary,

Looks very nice! A lot of different metals will make the knife very appealing. I like the contrast between your logo, hammered look and the copper!

Thanks for sharing,

Gary,
MRE's, um, um good food... I really used to love those C-Rats though. Yummy. Heck, it seems that I like just about any kind of canned food. Enjoy dinner!
Later,
Jeff

Hi Jeff,

This MRE consisted of Kelly fried Chicken, baked tater, and a handmade salad. Made with Love - a Meal Ready to Eat! YUMMMMY.

From the other evening. Tilapia/Tomato Bisque!!! To die for! I'd have cropped the pic, but I thought you wood freaks WOOD like to see the floors again! Hehe.
