Looks very cool, is there a lacquer coat to keep it bright or is constant polishing needed on the bright copper? The hammered texture caught some of my (shotgun) shooting buddies attention and got a lot of admiring.
It is hard for me to get a great picture to show off the buckle on a belt. Lots of glare.

The natural phase Copper goes thru as it settles into a brown tone patina, is attractive. So: I usually don't lacquer. However; I have lacquered some pcs recently. And, I'm sorry but I can't honestly tell you it your buckle was one. If you want a lacquered buckle, I will send you one. Sorry if I missed a cue Gary.
