An absolute BEAST of an Airgun. The Grizzly 62. This thing will launch steel targets into Orbit!

It's slug of choice is approximately 625 grains.

We really enjoyed shooting it at Skeeter 2. Thanks Kent, for sharing!

What a cannon of a airgun the grizzly is . Such a beautiful stock too . It's was hard to believe it kicked the shooter back in the seat every time . I believe the owner even made a big game kill or two with it . That's got to make you happy seeing it afield Gary . I'm so bummed I didn't get my OutRyder into the field this year for a little deer meat .

Thanks for sharing Kent

Thanks
Kurt

I got a chance to shoot that rifle years ago before the carvings were done . . . way back when. It is a cannon . . . indeed a bit punishing compared to, say, Julio's Yukon II. Gary, less massive of a stock / overall rifle = more energy transferred to the shooter? eye popping smiley

Hi Jim,

This may be the one that ripped contrails out of the air in Maryland. Movies here somewhere.

It's a very strong rifle. With heavy slugs, it would push 850-900 foot pounds.

Yes, lighter the rifle, the more transfer to the shooter!

I think you showed me this in the back room of your shop last year? Is this the one with the real nice chatoyance right? Pictures just don't do it justice.

Hi Sal,

Not sure. Could have been a Grey Fox. They look similar. The Figured Mahogany really warms up after a couple of years.
