Here are the panels as they exist now. They are 95% Carved/Engraved.

Enjoy. I'm going to rest my arm with a cuppa coffee, and then see what I'm able to concentrate on. That's the key.

Thanks so much for checking on me. Please leave comments. I don't expect praise. Just say hi. It's nice to know you stopped by.

Think I missed this one.

Three items nobody has commented on. Been there from the drawings onward.

Thumb's Up

Hi Lon,

Nope. Just my silly hope I guess.

Over the next 200 years, people will point out ... "hey, look at the ...(insert feature I thought of, designed, integrate into the scene, engraved) ...that's neat!" And, I won't be there. So; at the inception... while our readers are literally watching it come to be, I kinda hoped there'd be more ..... "Hah, look at the check valve on the side of the helmet, and the expulsion of bubbles indicating the diver's startled response to seeing that huge shark diving on his position. It introduces emotion and animation into what is, in reality; just a judicious removal of metal chips." And, it would be fun to hear that all my effort and hours of making metal chips, brought a bit of whimsical enjoyment to someone. Hear it while I'm alive and could enjoy a smile from it.

That's the current nature of follow-along coverage of projects on the net now. Too easy to internally say ... "oh, I've seen that already - click." It takes a lot of time to take pics, process, and post. Usually after a long day. Would be fun to get a few comments posted. Like I say: I'm not looking for a bronze statue. Maybe just a smile or two. Conversation.

Thanks Lon
Gary

It looks like the diver is about to harpoon the great white shark!
The detail of your engraving is always amazing to me.

Hi Scott,

Yeah. That Shark better break it off pretty quick.

BTW. I took artistic license with the shark's eye to create a bit more drama. It may not be quite finished. I'll see how the background takes.

I see a little man flailing his arms looking out the porthole. Frantic for sure . The big jellyfish is freaking him out .
Really well done . I'll look more later but it's crazy for sure.

Thanks

Thanks Kurt,

Glad you caught that.

There's a few things you will smile at when you find them.

Also I see a crab with his claws clamping and I believe I see remains of a diver eaten by the giant squid ! Terrible mean looking teeth and eyes on that Kreacher ! Yikes
More later there's so much to take in . You've done a wonderful job .

Thanks

Thanks Kurt.

First mention of the CRAB! Yay. Ding ding ding!!! Haha.

It has its claws up at that Shark streaking by!

If the Diver Remains is over by the Mermaid, that is something else.
