1) Shoot

2) I would collect and use depending on the knife
A) drop point
B )Folders with assisted lever opening. No mechanisms on a fixed blade.
C)Both

3) I doubt there is something you haven't already made. If I did think of one, you'd pull an old photo out of the drawer.

4) SS I & Kentucky, which ever that was.

1. Collect but would rather shoot more
a. .22
b. swing open breach so pellet can be easily placed into the barrel directly
c. Shrouded. The stealthiness is more enjoyable.

2. Use them all
a. Spearpoint
b. Flippers
c. Classic

3. I really enjoy custom woodworking tools: Planes, Chisels, Marking gauges etc. If I had your skills and machinery I would do them.
Because you tend to master pretty much any material, lots of custom tools incorporate metal and wood.

4. A perfectly placed single shot. 250 yards away I hit an old one gallon gas can across a river.

1. Collector that shoots . If it doesn't shoot when I get it ... I'll make it shoot and then bring out occasionally and shoot the cobwebs out .
.22 cal but .32 ideal . I've only recently been moving to big bore HPA .
I like single shot or rapid fire .
I really like tap loaders & bolt action .
The shroud is not for me . I like boom bang !

2. I collect and use .
I like them all shapes but not too big .
Mechanical folders are best . Any lock system is bonus .


3. I really would like to see you make more airguns !( I know sorry )


4. Favorite memory .... shooting at skeeter shoot WITH my son and the master smith himself and all his friends .

4a. Second favorite..... shooting in back yard with wife and son at coffee cans . I love the smack ting . Neighbors probably think I'm weird hanging cans from the trees .

I know, the whole Airgun experience is something I miss.

Fighting off a headache. Came home early from the Family 4th. Pretty sure they must wonder by now. I hate to be a drag. Seems every trip for every occasion goes the same. I think it’s the travel, especially the driving. That’s why I can’t do the show circuit. Can you see me scraping together the work and expenses for a major show then having a sick headache in my room while the show goes on without me. Did that from 74 onwards. Figured by now I’d have that network. Stuff like today remind me.

BTW, I really enjoyed the get together at your place, I no doubt would have enjoyed a get together at Kent's - I had my airline tickets and hotel res., hurricane swept through Miami that week - but the scale of the two mentioned events was incredible AND it had ALL the players to boot.
