Front Barrel Clamp in place. Breech Slide Stop machined and installed. Trigger block ... alllllmost tuned. Then finish the wedding band type ‘action to stock Clamp’ .... and make go Bang Bang.

Thanks guys.

It’s been a fairly long hike, but enjoyable. I had to excavate dozens of tools and cutters. Refamilarize myself with my own designs and procedures. Adjust and service machinery. It’s been very much like taking your skills with you, but reporting to a new job. Ha.

I am, indeed; anxious to get it onto the range. It’s coming soon. Yippie!

Fire in the hole !
That's going to be a dare I say...... tank of a gun good for ANY game in the USA and beyond! I also love the fact that you engraved the bolt with the proper name and spelling. Hehe... the power of suggestion . I'm so lucky to be able to say I own a barnes .
The last gun show I took my Outryder too , I spent a couple of hours at my truck showing it to people. I wasn't prepared to shoot at the time but there were still a lot of fingerprints by the end of the day!
Thanks againspinning smiley sticking its tongue out

Thanks
Kurt

Ok .... FIRST FIRE coming.

I decided to put the action in the stock to avoid false teeth and skull plates.

And .... I had it fit sooooo well that the Delrin spring guide extending .040” beyond the spring tube threw off the fit. Then, I found some “bruised stock wood” where trigger housing slipped into its socket. Had to correct both.

It’s now in lower shop waiting. I simply had to have a cuppa Gruel.

Here we go ....

Gary,

Enjoyed seeing all the parts come together. Rather quickly as well from what I could tell.

Great stock work and machining. Thanks for taking us along on the build.
