Look thru pics. I have lots of thoughts on the design, but take a look first. It’s a type of knife that will wear in like a favorite jacket. It’s nearly weightless. It’s slim blade is so very useful, and yet tough. It’s not like the heavy bricks of most contemporary commercial examples you see in shops, gear suppliers, and the like. If you “get it”, you’ll find it becomes an old friend.

That's a wonderful knife . I see you also added your B logo to the beautiful colored lock back . I've seen tiger strip on a lot of older guns but not on a knife .
The blade etching looks amazing for sure . I know you're a pretty big fellow and the knife seems to cover your hand pretty good . Did you mention the length somewhere? You sure can't beat that price for such a beauty of a hand made knife .

Yeah, first line but it blends in with the header and overpowered by the bold color lines. It’s 7 1/2” open.

It’s the kind of knife that can just always be there for ya without being in the way. I even used a “Nail file nail nick”. My first ever. You use it with the blade closed. Handy for a workman who (as you know) will chip and just ruin your day. Haha.

The knife works well. It’s representative of a practical era.

This is a nice pocket knife. You’ll never know it’s in your pocket. These thin blades are handy and are very strong. I’ve carried my simple version of this knife for about 27 years or more. It’s an old friend.

Every time I see pictures of this knife it strikes a chord, I really like the looks of it. I wish I had been visiting the forum more frequently when it came up for sale. I guess when you snooze you lose!

Does the coloration of the saddle lock spring stay this bright after it has seen some miles in your pocket, or does it wear/fade down to polished steel?

There’s no way to keep anything pristine in open pocket carry. The trick is to carry your “Pocket Knife” in a felt lined glove leather pouch. Said pouch has a leather tail which snaps around a belt loop. Bag has a snap on it.

I carried my knife this way for many years. Kept it looking new.

The world has changed. It’s just not possible for me to find folks ready to purchase such accessory items. Those take a good bit of time and a modicum of skill. That’s the proper method though, to maintain fine work ready to use.
