Was taking off on its own series of tasks

If you get some odd phone call or FaceTime from me ... it’s the ZombiePhone.

Chasing its remedy

Phone acted normal for a few minutes then touch screen would start working and the phone would take off on a series of unprompted tasks.

Replacing

Couple of days. Borrowing Kelly’s phone ...

Your lucky Miss Kelly’s lending you her phone . My wife’s phone is way different than mine but still “eye phone “ it would take a month to figure it out .

I got “the talk” about using her phone Kurt. I’m a nervous wreck! Haha.

My replacement phone (insured) is supposed to arrive today. My old phone was clearly damaged inside when a drill press table hand wheel stub, plucked it out of my phone case. I heard that sickening flat slap sound. Like a board on a pond. And since, if it’s not totally frozen, it’s off on a string of unprompted tasks. I can’t even turn it off. The touch screen won’t work.

So; can’t wait to get the new one on my belt. Man, it’s hard to do anything without reaching for your phone, once it’s gone.

I expect to get a pink and pearl Barbie flip phone. But I’ll take it!!! Hah

You should leave the phone in the truck during work hours . ( For a couple of reasons) IMHO
As a shop supervisor myself you don’t need ANY distractions . You can check during lunch and breaks only . I’m sure that’s in the BPN &BPS handbook .

Hi Kurt,

You don’t get a new phone without them forcing you to update. So we sat on Tech Support for about an hour, while they scrambled, deleted, and otherwise messed up the phone I was familiar with.

They own the toys.
