So; what do you think? You don’t hafta buy. Wink.

That is a LOT of Walnut dust removed to reveal these branches and leaves.

Would be nice to generate some conversation. Thanks!

This ole WOOD cleans up pretty nice once you carve the “Ordinary” off of it!

Very nice work! You eliminate every thing that isn't branches, acorns and leaves, with the pebble background!
Nice work Master Carver/ Blade Smith.

Thanks for showing us, Bob

Thanks Bob!

You got it. Now you know my method. You see why I’m hesitant to tell secrets! Haha

Glad you like it!

Thank you Scott,

I hope all of yours have been well.

I am anxious to finish this one ... probably tonight!!!

I’m putting together a nice series of these Pack Knives on different elevation levels. Base to Summit.

Best

Gary,

You must breathe a sigh of relief when they are finished. Ever split one?

Great work.

No Sir,

But I’ve started out to carve a moose in an Alpine meadow ... and ended up with a Rabbit in Time Square. That’s when I went to 0.5 lead in the magic pencils. laughing again

I’m glad you like it Lon.

Hi Rick,

Yes sir. I’ve done it in Titanium Too. But it’s rough on burrs, Turbines, and Nerves.

Now doesn’t this way (as shown) just smooth the soul??? Hah.

On this, I changed my original plan of a carved front and a smooth back; with clip. The knife I’m finishing though, is Symmetrical. Both sides with scales and both carved.

And, I got a note in my box from the COO reading something close to : To - GLBarnes. Subject - 97 Pack Knife. Objective - Pocket Tools. Judgement - Clocked Hours on this knife bent the needle over the “ABSURD PIN”. CUT IT OUT. From: Front Office.

Hah

More to come ...
Gary
