A very fine example of the Full Dress Model 97 as designed 1/97 by Barnes.







All 97’s feature the Barnes designed button lock (which glides from locked closed to locked open). They all have tuning adjust for lock up points. And choice of the original “Innerframe” inlay (Blue/green color Mammoth here) or an integral four bolster design.

That is one Great looking knife !!! Another Barnes masterpiece finished. I really like the scroll work on the blade also. Is that done on both sides of the blade? I am sure Alice is over the moon about her new knife!

Yes Sir. Both Sides. And the Blade is Damascus. From a series I made for a major article in one of the KNIVES books. It’s a Tool Steel Wire, composite forge welded blade.

There is NO BETTER knife that I’ve seen !
