For those youngsters, you may not have had the pleasure: any Variety Show worth it’s salt, had a segment with a Carnival Guy spinning numerous dinner plates atop whippy wooden rods about 4’ tall. The Stictk was to see how many he could keep spinning at a time. Adding plates and twirling the rods to create centrifugal force which kept the plates aloft. As a plate slowed, the fella would tend to it by whipping the rod around until the plate spun like a flywheel. The most plates aloft won! Yayyyy. It was tense amazement. Sort of like watching Barnes work.
Preparing the textured bail materials. Annealing, Hammering, bending, polishing ... quite a lot of specialized know how is required to make this simple part. It’s one of those “goes with it” item without which the whole project fails. So it must be done correctly, and usually in multiples.
Bails in place on this design.
A new design. Asymmetrical panels with balanced associated icons. I like the look.
This lot of restocked jewelry completed and delivered. Ready for the Holiday Season. Not sitting on a Cargo Ship. They were actually made by the Couple shown here, and in the US. Yayyyyy....!
And all the while the above operations were taking place ...the same couple were cutting, trimming, hauling to the fire pit. This 10’ish diameter by 5’ deep dirt pit, consumes the flora we try to keep at bae here in the jungles of Florida. Stand still and a vine will drag you up a tree!!! We are hosting Thanksgiving this year. Must be able to walk around without fear of the jungle growing in around the cars by evening. Hah.
Thanks for reading.
Now I’m back on the more regular work product. Yayyyy.
God Bless
Give Thanks
