It was a long tense day ... but here are the sides straight out of the sealer coat.

You can see my custom mix hit a really nice dark matte blue. I’m grateful

The Anodizing must cure now, and then will be cleaned and hand rubbed.

Yay. That was tense. I hadn’t done it in awhile. I’m very pleased.

Thanks Scott,

Time to Glass bead the blade.

For perspective: the glass beading does not save any time over my high polish blades. The prep needs to be the same. The processes fork at the point where I either go to my big compound embedded leather wheel, or go to the abrasive blast cabinet. The abrasive blast will just copy the scratch pattern of the last belt. You must get over 600 grit before it blends the surface. Then glass beads follow for a finish.

One or two more GREEN DOTS and then assembly/tuning.
