When I went to the house last night, I checked the Serrated Edge on our Favorite Kitchen Knife. I decided to modify the teeth a bit. It cut nice but I decided to make it smoother. So; after Church and after a Church Family meal ... I lightly sanded the edge. I then used my leather power Hone on both sides. That kind of made it look as if it’s hollow ground on the back but that’s an illusion.

The teeth are polished and terrifyingly Sharp. If nobody buys this, that would be a shame .... awlllllll That would mean I’d have another amazing kitchen knife ... ah geee. Shucks.

Ok. That’s it. Moving on. Wanted you to see this.

I asked Kelly to take the new knife to the kitchen. Cut something with BOTH our favorite kitchen knife, and this new one also. She did.

Her reply was that the new one actually cut a little better then our older one (which I made about five years ago). I asked her if the new one cut “smoothly” and she said it did. Now THAT is a testimonial. We both reach for that old knife every time. And she liked this blade length. She said it should slice medium size tomatoes well! Yayyy.
