Of the handles you’ve seen me do, thru the years ... what’s your favorite?

1). Black Micarta
2). Gary’s multi-color micarta (Skeeter Tusk)
3). Mosaics. Gary’s Geometric lay ups of Mamoth, Pearl, Stone, stabilized wood.
4). Relief carved Bone.
5). Relief carved Wood
6). Anodized Aluminum or Titanium

Other. Please specify. I need your input please.

Love your inlays, (Mosaics). Black or white (cream ) Micarta on a "work knife'. The rest depend on what the knife looks like and theme. Southwest, or Nemo exhibition knife.

wishing you well on your back and neck.

Since I have 1 ea. of the first 4 listed , I would say I like them all. My favorite action is the mdl 97 or the 97A. My favorite knife would be the Nemo carved 97.

Hello Bob,

I’m so glad you like your Barnes. That pleases me very much. So glad you liked “The Verne” too. Everyone who has seen that liked the detail. That was an Inspired Project. I was very happy with it. I have the Verne story of “80 Days Around the World” on my mind as well. We shall see. Would be fun. I have ideas for depicting various items.

I know I haven't been around much lately(I'm sorry), and this comment won't be of much help.
But, I love them ALL! (I should post a picture of my collection...) "festive"

Actually Scott,

That comment is very helpful. It tells me that the variety of my ideas may not be the stumbling block that I sometimes fear. I’m “An idea a day Artist.” Whereas some Craftsmen can make a career from a couple of ideas (copied over and over), I had endless fresh ideas. I’m not trying to dis’ the other guy. I often think he’s the smarter of the choices. He can make patterns and lists and use them til they are threadbare. I must take my new idea and Compute, List, Sketch, Pattern, Photograph, Ammend/Correct, endlessly. Just to make the Prototype often means a huge pile of work prior to fabricating the FIRST. And, by the time that’s finished, I have two others queued up for approval. BUT, if they are enjoyed, appreciated, desired, and purchased ... then they provide for the furtherance of the “Barnes Body if Work”. “Liking them ALL” is real nice. Thank you.
