I get ideas that result in very nice products and accessories. But the details required to complete them, seem endless. Note here. This isn’t simply “put a clip on it”. It’s “you can’t have the heads of screws inside the case to grind up the knife.” “So there has to be recessed space for those screw heads.” “So that space has to be molded into the hot Kydex while the Sheath is being molded.” “So there has to be a form made (and held in proper place) so the shape can be molded.” “So there has to be a Copy made, of the knife ‘With the Shape Added’, which will stay in place, while to hurry to fold the hot Kydex over the mold ... and keep it in place while it’s pressed. Doing so before the Kydex starts to cool and freeze into a premature shape that you don’t want! You have about ... no time ... to remove said Kydex from the oven ... wrap the mold ... slap the mold in the press ... hold all in registry ... close the mold ... lock the mold without the whole thing blowing up into a kid’s Bounce House for a Birthday Party.

Congratulations ... you have one primary raw component.

As you proceed, make the stainless clip. Mold it to sit atop the Kydex’s molded screw head bunker. Drill both the clip and the Kydex to be in registry with all.

Must go ....

Back later....
