Phone died during the post. Don’t know why the pics are oddly spaced. I was just glad not to loose all the prep work. Hope you enjoy all the detail in the pics themselves. As it turned out ... 50 to 100 years from now ... somebody will look at this date of Completion. 9/19/22. They’ll pause. “Good Grief!!! That’s the day Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II was laid to rest in Windsor Castle. Well that’s a uniquely curious fact. You couldn’t plan that. Especially since it seemed I started work on the Case before the Norman Conquest.



Reflections do odd odd things. I made it and couldn’t hardly figure it. Hah. Looks like a breast piece for a suit of armor! With flying Gargoyles! Yeah ... that’s it! And it shows the Engraved Serial no., date, and my Signature. Hope you enjoy the detail in the Engraved Repousee work. You are actually looking into the Carapace of the Case. The metal is nickel silver. The Tool Steel dies these were struck from, were hand Engraved, Carved with rotary air turbine tools, and the Nickel Silver metal was driven/hammered into those hardened dies. It’s a lot of work!
