I’ve been at home. I’ve been dealing with my health. Enough of that. Hope you are well.

This is a terrific folder. It’s just strikingly beautiful. Made by Barnes, with his trade Mosaic Pearl format.

This took forever to make. Worth it.

By any combo of time/wage, the project is justified. I ask $1,500 for the knife. I will consider multiple payments if we have done business prior.

Few things can compare to pearl. My mosaic technique has proven itself over four decades.

Note in pic 1 and 7, you can see the visible “Hamom”. The shadowy line which forms to delineate between the very hard edge steel and the spring temper blade back. Steel is HONEST if you know the language. It visibly shows you it’s tempering characteristics.

“Very Nice to Hear”

During the visit of a friend, today; I got a great compliment from my wife. The newest Barnes Mosaic 97 was laying on the table. It became part of our conversation. At one point, Kelly looked at me with a rather serious look on her face. I wondered what was coming. She looked at me and said .... “I was really nervous about this knife”. The reader will know I have a serious fight for my health, and Kelly helps me to daily meet needs. She continued ... “We know it took you forever to finish this ... but then the relief showed again. She finished ... “but this is one of the nicest pieces you’ve ever made.” In other words, I’ve still got it when it comes to the completed piece of Barnes Artwork.

Thank You Kelly. I Sincerely appreciate your judgment there. You’ve seen the last 34 years of them. Thank You.

That’s a great looking knife. I always love the detail on the bolster you do . I know you haven’t mentioned it but judging by the size of your big paws to the knife it looks like a good 5” blade too.
I showed my wife and she was very impressed . Then I pulled out a smaller version of one I got from you to give her the true effect of the craftsmanship.
The pearl and abalone is so beautiful.

And I’m glad Diane was pleased to. The Ladies know quality. Kelly just ordered some new tee shirts for me. Some I have are more holes than shirt. Well, when then came, Kelly set out to wash them right away. And she declared them to be “very well made”. “Double stitched everywhere, and the seams straight and true. I’m going to have to straighten up to deserve them, no doubt. Haha.
