I was just thinking about poor old Neil ... down under ... snuggled up to the fireplace ... with his winder wooly socks on. Probably too cold to shoot there. hahah.

Thanks for the sympathy Gary!! Well, it's been cold and wet and definitely not too hot to shoot (deepest sympathy to Jerry and Jim) but I still managed to sneak out on a couple of evenings last week and my tally for the week was 2 possums and 1 rabbit. Smallbore kills (by the Falcon) except for 1 of the possums which fell to the .308. I expect to do some range work next weekend as the .50 cal will be back and will need lots of attention (it's been away having some upgrades offered by the manufacturer).
Cold or not, I still have to scratch the airgun itch whenever possible

It's now 102 degrees here but at least I completed the repairs on my car. Step outside and instant sweat! Way too hot for a full shoot set-up but I might figure something out...if I have any ammo...

EDIT: The official weather guys say it's 101.9 with a heat index of 117. Excellent! So long as you have a cool place to duck into when it gets too much, it's a great day!

That sucks for sure. The HOT weather finally hit us here on the west coast 2 weeks ago. And man was it hot. I'm going shooting tomorrow though regardless.
