Gary : What a lovely ring. I'm sure this will be treasured by her all her life. Kelly must be having a great time visiting with everyone. Karlby Karl_D - Gary's Galleries
Joe : Your project is coming along great. I am looking forward to seeing it in action. When is turkey season? Or will deer season be first? Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary : Ouch! Please take the days off. You'll get more done whole than with parts missing. Super glue is amazing stuff...you don't own stock do you? Stay Well, Karlby Karl_D - I'm just sayin'
Wow. That was some recoil. Beautiful gun too. Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary : Quite the tale! I'm sorry but I did chuckle a little bit. I've been there ...as I'm sure most everyone reading this has as well. Glad to hear it turned out well in the end. You are more patient than me ... I probably would have replaced the cart. Paying a machinist for all that you did would have cost me a fortune!! Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary : Well, its not Mastodon ivory or Scottish red deer antler material ...( lol) but still a great knife and quite striking. I hope you get to keep it.... If you get tired of it I'm sure there will be many people willing to help you with that. Best, Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary: It looks like you and Jerry had a great time at the range. Wish I was there. About your side project...Another beautiful knife. I hope you are going to give it a equally beautiful matching handle. Hmmmm. The blade material reminds me of mine. The blade shape reminds me of mine as well...so maybe a simililar handle? Of course, I wouldn't try to talk you out of it. Seriously thby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Jerry : What a great time you must have had. I wish you had a pic of Gary's face when the first tree fell. So, are you having your trophies mounted? Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Julio : Those were my exact thoughts exactly! I don't think my wife agrees with me though. Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary: I typically fall into group one as long as I can shoulder the piece. I can see those trying to compete seriuosly against other elite shooters wanting every advantage though. For them, the stock would have to be fully adjustable for lop and cheek height so it can be adjusted day by day. I think even they would have to wing it for any other factor...except weights? Obviously we areby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary: Yes, I remember seeing that case before. I hadn't heard that it had been damaged though. What a shame! You should post pics of the case you built for Julio's GS 2. It was nice too ....though not as nice as the airgun. Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Wow! Beautiful presentation Gary. Hugh is blessed indeed. Looking forward to his posts. Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary: Great toy! Too bad my kids have moved on to ipods and video games...and other big kid toys. Kinda wish they were still young enough to enjoy it. Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary : What can I say that hasn't already been said above? Another beautiful airgun destined to become someone's treasured possession. I think we need to talk when a slot opens up...... Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary : Ouch! I have a soft spot for the Nitro..and seeing that just hurts. I hope the next session goes better. Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary : Another beautiful Nitro Express. The new owner will certainly proud to own that. I especially like the small touches, like the Schnabel forend, and the pistol grip end piece. Looking forward to seeing it in action. Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary : Beautiful work! I really like the flow of the carving around wood. This will be a gorgeous gun when finished. I must congratulate Mr. Hagan on his model selection. The Nitro Express is one fine gun. Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary : Sorry to hear about your shoulder, I hope you feel better soon. I see your world famous lucky streak is still going strong. Any chance of returning the tubing? If not, I'm sure they will come in handy. Might make a nice insert for a gray fox? Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Great post Julio! It looks like you both had a good time. That was some pretty fine shooting by both of you ....but especially by your friend. He really knows his way around that .22. Is the Nebula adjustable for power? I wonder if it might give better performance at 75 to 90 fpe? I'm sure Gary would know. Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary: Looks like its nearly ready. Victorys are really sweet shooting guns. This model was my favorite on the woods walk. Someone is going to very happy! Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Happy New Year! I wish the best for all of you in the coming year. Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Kent: Beautiful rifle. I am glad it found a worthy home. Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary: The sheath looks wonderful! I appreciate all of the care you took in the design and construction. I will wear it proudly. The cocking stud is much appreciated too. I'll mount it when I get home and let you know how it looks. Even without the sheath, I've been showing off the beauty of the knife to friends and family. They all marveled at the detail and relief carving on the handleby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Merry Christmas everyone! We left ATL this morning at 5 am to visit family here in Florida. Just missed the snow. My kids are unhappy. ..me...not so much Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Joe: Julio is right, that is a magnificent knife. I always seem to miss your for sale items when they come up. After Julio, if you have a similar knife for sale, drop me a line and I'll take it.by Karl_D - AR Classifieds
Julio: That was a wonderful message. Unfortunately, I'm not nearly as eloquent as you are but I would like to take this opportunity to wish all of you a Merry Christmas and the best for the new year. Warmest Regards to all, Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Kent: Looking at those pics, I wish I could have attended that shoot. It looks like it was a fine time for everyone. Gary: The sheath is coming along great. I hope you and your family have a wonderful time. Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Julio: Beautiful weather, beautiful gun. I must admit to some jealousy, sitting here in 30 degree weather...at least its not colder (like where Gary, Jerry, Jim, Joe...hey I'm feeling better already ). Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary: I can personally attest to this. Once my wife mentioned how neat immersion blenders were. So I thought that would make a great Christmas gift. I was wrong. I still hear about it to this day......and it happened 20 years ago! Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary: Sorry to be so late to the party..but happy belated birthday! If I remember right, it was a picture of this very gun which first got me interested in big bore airguns. I can't recall where I saw it though... Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
