the dragon finish almost looks alive , the way the light plays off the colour . is the finish smooth , it looks glossy smooth , but the depth of the pattern almost looks deep and textured , love the near vertical pistol grip , all in all a stunning piece of work , let alone how well the accuracy and performance figures add up too. well done indeed gary.by Dyson Diver - Gary's Galleries
its interesting to see that after ten years your made bits are still working well , but after the steel shave test of a new blade ,,,,, why wouldnt they , which leads to an interesting thought/ question , out of all the tools you have , either bought or made , which is the oldest and did you make it . i have an old plug socket , ex mill stamped 1934 , it makes me smile every time i use it. stillby Dyson Diver - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
hi , really nice shape , nice looking knife , just to show my ignorance , whats the handle made from , and the rivets. look well together , but i cant see what its actually made from. thanks tomby Dyson Diver - The Picture Gallery
hi , i know its an airgun forum , but as this part is named pictures , thought id post this link , some stunning pics , just thought id share it with you guys.by Dyson Diver - The Picture Gallery
dont tell me , youve got that mottled moonlight sky pic effect onto a gun ,,, looking forward to seeing it , even if im totally wrong and its completely different im sure it will be spectacular. you do make a stiff rod for your own back sometimes.... but ,,,, wouldnt be the same any other way. tby Dyson Diver - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
i hope thats not the skin from that nice wee dragon you had a few pot shots at a few months ago, what a finish , its really nice the way the two tones work together and play off each other. its no wonder there arent many dragons left if thats what their skin looks like .. how about a dragon skin sling to go with it, tanned and buffed of course . tby Dyson Diver - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
a lot of things id actually never thought about , some interesting stuff, mind you , i remember gary posting some groups shot with balls pressed through a size die , a sort of budgert boat tail slug , and they worked well , as a fast to make / size cheap and cheerful slug option.by Dyson Diver - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
love the idea of just buying a chineese reamer ,, it will be out of size enough, the tooling is a work of art , without actually having it do anything . nice work , i can see where you earn your grey hair. regards tby Dyson Diver - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
and you didnt mention the piloted counter bore ,, that would make a skateboard wheel look simple , its the things that look so simple in a picture that really arent , even cutting round a scribed line with a jigsaw isnt as easy as it looks when you try it in real life . nice work indeed gary , but nothing new there.by Dyson Diver - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
love the mounts , no chance of a shift there , as ever its really nice to see the work in action shots , even if its frustrating stopping to show the action . its still hard to believe that a few lumps of steel and a plank finish as a sum total greater than the individual parts. looking good as ever. thanks tomby Dyson Diver - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
weld a washer on the end of the chuck key ,, put a hook beside the on switch , and get into the habbit of touching the key before the switch , you soon get into the habbit and it becomes second nature , then you know where the key is at start up good luck with the project.by Dyson Diver - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
dont let gary near the big glass . the results would make the rest of us ,,, ok read ''me'' ,, cry. ive seen what he does with a door entry viewer , well at 4x it may as well be , or the bottom of a jam jar , hide it away jerry , keep it away from gary.lolby Dyson Diver - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
great pics , a nice reminder as to the scale of large bore guns there , looks like emily is shooting an artillery piece .by Dyson Diver - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
its just a stick for holding the action in place ,, whats the fuss... lol . ofetn its the stock people notice first , and overlook the action. i guess its probably only a fraction of the time spent on a stock as to the amount of time spent on the action too. but its no good giving a rolls a coat of emulsion either . lot of good reading there gary. as ever.by Dyson Diver - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
good luck to shoot . hope you enjoy it , look forwards to the pics and a review.by Dyson Diver - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
nice looking gun , best of health to shoot.by Dyson Diver - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
im glad that the secret pics are just that , dont tell them . and def never show them the pics. although i do like the pics of you building things , lots of swarf and cutting fluid everywhere . its great , but , if it was easy everyone would do it. regards tby Dyson Diver - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
i like the windicators , good idea , nice job.by Dyson Diver - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
spectacular stuff , its interesting how the impossible soon becomes the norm , but it never detracts from the fact that its all still spectacular .by Dyson Diver - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
good job indeed , well done that man .by Dyson Diver - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
ok ,, here goes , for the fear of ridicule ,,,,,,,, whats wrong with springers , you want handy lower power near silent shooting , good trigger and follow through practice , something that reacts to propper hold , without going to big bore ,,,, buy a springer. no air fill no bottles , no popping off to the dive shop. buy a springer something you can strip and tune and work with ,,, springerhavby Dyson Diver - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
wow , thats a lot written on this post , and it still makes sense , all in all no one could argue with the original sentiment at all, ive just discovered this thread after sending an e mail , but this sums things up well , its not fair for people to expect another revolutinary design every couple of months , its just not how the world works , but looking back through the older stuff it seems thatby Dyson Diver - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
here endeth the sermon ,,, just be glad it wasnt big bro , or i was once a celeb why did i get thrown in the jungle ,, lol , glad to see your on top form gary , hope the world is treating you well . ps you missed out the bike that allways started , and a hellicopter or two in the junk yard , forget the show , id just like the yard.by Dyson Diver - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
they have done it before ,,,lol , they are called tanks . looks good , bet it helps a lot .by Dyson Diver - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
hes a bugger , gary , stop ...... i didnt think metal carving could get much better than the last bison , but there you go ,,, wrong again , the new style to your new carving is just exceptionally tasty, the best yet . your still a tease mind .by Dyson Diver - Gary's Galleries
fine shooting , i always liked the look of a the nebula , there are very few futuristic looking designs that are classic enough not to date , if that makes sense, but the nebula is def one of them , not sure the paint is to my taste , but as its not my rifle , it hardly matters , the shooting is exceptional though . well done indeed.by Dyson Diver - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary ,,,, just pay the bill , and it will all work again.... lolby Dyson Diver - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
ah ,, now i understand , 45/58 thing , and both of the vtwin family , love the shrouded look , very chunky and purposfull tby Dyson Diver - Gary's Galleries
na , thats seldom the case , ill bet gary shot it , using an old screw , a bit of tape and a dab of bluetac as sights , and its a triple , the other hole is right in the centre of one of the others , it only looks like a double , because of that flyer,,, lol ok , teasing over , love the stock , schnabell front is super . mind that burl finish isnt shabby either . what sets a carnivore aside froby Dyson Diver - Gary's Galleries
at least they havnt shrugged their shoulders and said , nowt else we can do . so that alone is worth something , i hope .i can imagine that its hard for anyone not in your position to fully understand. regards tomby Dyson Diver - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
