Another project I did last year was replace the garage door. It was buckled and paint chipping, peeling off. I bought a new door with track and opener. All worked rather well except their system wasn't compatible with my security system. Of course they said it would be no problem and later denied that we had discussed it. I had wanted to paint the trim but it got to late in the year. Soby pedrog - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Since I started with the small forge last fall I have been plagued with issues when it came to the burner. I wasn't getting the flame required and added a regulator. Might have been obvious to the experienced forge owners but learning as I go. Spent a lot of time on Youtube University and learned what to do with the burner. I now have a nice flame but it was trial and error. From reading moreby pedrog - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, More polish! That blade all gleams! Very hard to show all the different angle in a picture. I tried to sharpen wife's kitchen knives today. What a chore. Got relatively sharp but need better stones etc. Watched a few videos on it, the Japanese use 1000, to 6000 grit stones. Lots of polishing. Got a few knives cutting paper easily, they were rather dull before that. Gives me a realby pedrog - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, Very nice knife! Enjoyed seeing it come together. The Raptor part due to the shape of the blade? Shaped a bit like the claw? Pedroby pedrog - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hello Gary, Very cool how you show the tempering. Takes a lot to master temper with certain steels. That will be quite the dagger, must be an honor making something for a military man Keep it up! Pedroby pedrog - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, Personally I like seeing many of the items you build. Whether stainless, titanium or any configuration. Really do not know what else you need to do get get more people following you. You supply a lot of pictures and descriptions. Keep posting. You have many online and offline outlets from what I gather. Something has to work out for you, all this effort doesn't go unnoticed. regaby pedrog - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, Wow, those storms must be something else. I have only had one router fail on me, probably mostly due to age. So no matter how well grounded the system is, you still need to worry about unplugging things? Upgraded recently to a cable system with 75 Mbps speed. Had lots of issues with the 25 Mbps system from another provided (fiber-optic) and so far so good, very quick downloads, uploadby pedrog - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Another fine blade my friend! Just amazing how you can make a steel blank into the knives we see with such detail and skills. Pedroby pedrog - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

Hey Kurt, Yes we seem to be rather ambitious to compete in the commercial realm. But there is a lot of room from what we are told by 3D printer "experts." The goal of any printer manufacturer is to have a printer that will start and finish the prints with no human intervention or constant supervision. The professional printers require very little "babysitting" but things can always go wrong. Mby pedrog - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, I can sympathize with the Apple experience. Took my wife’s iPad to the Apple store and the guy told me it was a battery issue. I explained my friend replaced the battery which revealed a charging port issue. He fixed that as well and the iPad works as long as plugged in. Unplug it and it shuts down. Therefore I concluded it’s a hardware issue as something is telling the machine to shby pedrog - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
So a coworker and I started building another printer. Our focus has turned to the commercial market as the hobbiest/maker market is saturated. It is much to design and source parts, as well as incorporating simplicity into the design. The printing capacity is going to be 600 x 300 x 400 high volume, exceeding or matching what is currently on the market. End goal is to have an enclosed, heaby pedrog - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
That looks like a lot of work! Another five hours, I bet your arm screaming STOP! Will be another awesome knife when completed. Thanks for showing the details, Pedroby pedrog - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

There is a reason I hoard many items. Usually sits around 3-4 years and I toss it, only to need it a few months later. Used parts, equipment are harder and harder to get. With so many metal recyclers about, good parts are often thrown out. We do have a local collector of all things. Got a motor and gearbox from him for $40 cash. Recently saw a video of a hand pump mounted to a frame with slowby pedrog - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, Check twice, drill once! Hope you got it drilled in the right location, I am sure you did! I had to look up what a Balisong was. Never heard that term before. Butterfly knife, that I know! Looking forward to seeing you come up for your first one. Pedroby pedrog - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

Kurt, Sounds like a cool show! To bad I didn't live in the Windsor/Detroit area anymore, be pretty close to visit the show A vendor giving your son the Daisy is amazing. Many wouldn't do that! Let us know if you saw anything amazing. Best regards, Pedroby pedrog - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, Hope these projects all re-establish you with retailers and visitors to the site as well. The markets in the last ten years have really changed. The direct China buying has lowered prices but not improved service. It is hard to make an informed decision as there is so much competition and technology changing quickly. Plus the general consumer is highly educated these days and can watby pedrog - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Sorry I had meant to respond after you posted. Your son will do well. He will have the discipline from the Air Force and I am sure that all those years serving will help dealing with issues and make for some good sermons. Pastor is a big responsibility, may the Lord provide understanding, direction, and help as needed. Blessings, Pedroby pedrog - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Amen to that! As rough as life gets, we have the “hope”, assurance of life eternal in heaven! Hope you & family had an enjoyable Easter. Ours went well. Pedroby pedrog - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, The scales really do look like snake skin! The contrast, texture stands out. I think it will be a hit for the hunter, outdoors enthusiast. Hope things fall into place, sounds like you have been very busy! Pedroby pedrog - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
The Python subject got my attention. Thought maybe you had one on your property! Those nasty python breeds, African rock & Burmese python are said to be endangering Florida Everglades. Dumb people buy them as pets then release them into the wild once to big to keep at home. Anyway, knife looks great with the scaled look! Good to hear you have been feeling good! Hope it continues. Hi Lon, At this point we really do not have a prototype. We had thought we would hit the maker/hobbies market but the experts told us we missed that boat. Luckily we had already discussing ideas for the manufacturing market so that is where the focus will be. Will post once we have something. Pedroby pedrog - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
