Gary Hope your doing ok and can find some relief in your day ! The acorns look awesome . I can’t wait to see a stamping . Thanksby kurt wag - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Looking good Gary I get very nervous using the little cutting wheels and grinders . The variable speed helps but my eyes and hands don’t work as good as they used to especially on the smaller stuff . I’m sure your getting through the days the best your able too . Some days I don’t even make it in to work . You can only do what ya can do . Thanks for sharing your progressby kurt wag - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Looks great Gary Forward progress is the main thing . That sheath looks like a lot of effort too but I like it . Seems to be coming along nice . Now to the point at hand CHRISTMAS GIFTS ? Oh no I’m sure they’ll understand . Nothing is better than a handmade gift . Hopefully your pain is tolerable . I’m sorry you hafta deal with all thatby kurt wag - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Howdy all That’s looking nice . I can only imagine the amount of work that goes into those dies plus the heat treatment. Is your jack that you press with 100 ton ? It looks pretty beefy . We have to stamp ( with a hammer ) letters and numbers into steel beams for identification purposes. We do each character by hand and as you can guess the letter B and number 8 are the hardest to imprintby kurt wag - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary I’d love to own the first oak leaf case .by kurt wag - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary Those are amazing you forget to mention that all has to be created in .001-?? Of an inch too right ? Those images look a mile deep that your showing or a mile high ! You can see the acorn pops up and the inside of the leaves curl down . I can’t even wrap my brain around it . I read your words 3 times too ! Thanks I’m excited like aby kurt wag - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Well there ya go Gary just like an assembly line ! Haha I’m glad they are catching on with some of the readers . I’m thinking this will be good for a pellet storage container too ! BTW has anyone put their marker out for the first oak leaf one you’ve got it the mix ??by kurt wag - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Looking good Gary . Somebody is going to be VERY happy for sure !by kurt wag - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
That’s looking pretty shiny ! I don’t know how you do it .by kurt wag - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary I’ve received my expedition case and wow ! It is over the top awesome. I’ve still got it next to my lazy boy in the black velvet pouch . Every night I pull it out and play with it click , snap click snap . It like fidgeting with a zippo lighter but snaps with Authority ! I think of what I will use it for and when I’ll carry it . I’ve got a perfect idea I’ll share with y’allby kurt wag - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Wow Gary Thanks a bunch . I’m super excited to get it . The pics are great too and I’m glad I dropped my marker EARLY . I sure didn’t wanna haft fight Scott for it . I’m sure it would have been a bidding war .by kurt wag - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary That bending and folding has got to be tedious. You keep talking about the kersnap when it shuts and my mind keeps thinking about wrapping those hinge barrels into a tiny circle AND tempering to keep their shape along with the latch system. I’ve always admired your Expedition cases but never held one or opened and closed one. For myself it’s not so much the look as the mechanics of thby kurt wag - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Oh man that’s looking sweet I will now have somewhere to keep my mento’s ! You just never know when you’ll need a piece of gum ! That finish turned out fantastic . Thanks a bunch Gary You never disappointby kurt wag - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Thanks Gary I’m excited to see it for sure . I’ve always loved your expedition cases but the round watch type I can see me denting in my pocket . The little square will be perfect. I think back to the texts you sent when you started engraving the minute man and we talked about eyes, nose , mouth just to name a few . That work will last forever too Thanksby kurt wag - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
That’s a great looking knife too easy to find in a drawer full of … I love by GB kitchen knives . Some day I’ll talk Gary into making me a clever cleaver !by kurt wag - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary That is seriously coming along nice . All the pre planning is coming together. It must feel really good. Can’t wait to see how it feels bin my pocket ! Hahaby kurt wag - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Very cool Gary I sure wish I was there to watch it fold up into the case . I think it will be a perfect size too . I’ve watched all the round ones but really had my brain on a square / rectangle shape . Plus the stamping of the design will make it extra neat . Not being attached but incorporated into the design ! Thanks for sharing .by kurt wag - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Wow guyz That’s a good time there . Looks a lot like my OutRyder .50 ! Talk about a punch . Pedro Glad you got a little trip in too . Gary has a lot of cool reactive targets. Wish I was there shooting with y’all too . Btw nice job coming along on the expedition case . I really enjoy seeing the bends and folds and stamping work . Thanksby kurt wag - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

I explained to him about your procedure that it need to be completely polished before glass beading to look that good . Very nice thanks .by kurt wag - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary that’s exactly how they disappear! This tactical is a beast of a knife too !by kurt wag - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Howdy guyz I was never a kydex guy but I bought a fix blade skeeter tusk and what a nice outfit. I was coerced into Kydex by my blade smith (haha ) ! Gary said it was just to protect the blade for shipping! Mine actually click into place just like Gary said . It also swivels for setting down . I was not in the military ( major regret) or police but I hear a lot of good stuff about the kydeby kurt wag - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary Very nice project I’ve been wanting one for awhile now . Let me know if it turns out ( haha ) I’d love to have one when you get it done . Please consider my marker DROPPED here . Have a great day my friendby kurt wag - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hey I see one or two of mine in there . My daily carry Md 97 is holding up great . As you know I keep it loose in my pocket ( not recommended) but I still use it every day . A little stropping keeps in it great shape . My favorite ever that I carried . It is the bottom picture with the dragon etched into the blade !by kurt wag - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Woohoo I Can’t wait to see what your up too . I don’t have any Barnes’s auto YET !by kurt wag - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Wow What a deal Gary . I sure wish I was in a better position to snag up a few of those . The quality and detail are / is amazing ! Thanks for sharingby kurt wag - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary That is a great looking knife and the Fuji apple ?? Mmmmm I hope someone steps up . It WILL be the go to knife .by kurt wag - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Scott I also have an Outryder and it’s a beast . I’ve even got the casting supplies for different grains of slugs and sizing dies . Every size shoots extremely accurate. I’ve also done ( with Gary’s instructions) hand made bird shot rounds and plucked a few squirrels out of the trees . I’m really surprised no body has stepped up to buy the last one left .by kurt wag - I'm just sayin'
Gary Thanks a bunch for the cuff I received today. As always they look WAY better in real time . The pics are good but hanging on your wrist it’s amazing. The Barlow is very nice . I too have an old one in my tackle box I only used when fishing. I haven’t had my spruce cone Barlow you made me out for a while . That’s the one I think I cut my lip eating sardines at work. It’s SOOOOby kurt wag - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
