This still has to be an all time favorite of mine . I can spend hours looking at it . Also bet it’s gotta be one of the most hours you’ve spent on a knife ever ! At least of the ones I’ve seen . Just can’t say enough about the workmanship. Your the manby kurt wag - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Haha I love those kinda repairs ! It sure looks like a palmetto bug body to me . I actually had a box elder bug caught between some points on my boiler furnace control a few years back . It was still working but made a crazy loud humming vibration that echoed. It was buried under 3 covers when I finally found it . Just a little de bugging. Glad y’all got it fixed .by kurt wag - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
You all hit the nail in the head there . Even the industrial fans are crap now a days . Motors are small as your fist and not serviceable. I’ve got an old Patterson 4 pole fan that burned up . It’s got the oil weep holes front and back with bushings . I won’t throw it out . It’s the perfect size all metal with a great blade. I watch the garbage on the road side for any old 4 pole faby kurt wag - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary So glad y’all missed the worst of the storm . I’m no stranger to water but sooo scared of them high winds . Be safe my friend ! Ps: Big Bore .... hopefully your well and stay out of the path of them storms!by kurt wag - Gary's Galleries

This is an older knife I carried for many years. I even got in trouble a few times because of how it looked ! The 22 caliber made by kershaw . I used the knife till the sheath failed and I almost lost it . This is one I sowed together with the pattern of the original! Funny thing about the SS blade is I was camping and cut onion and stained the blade . Stainless I think not Ken Onioby kurt wag - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Your like my wife on jury duty ! You ain’t getting NO information on that top secret knife ! Haha I’ve got a good one to show I’ll get too after work . I’m wondering who has the EARLIEST Barnes serial number knife laying around too ! Hmmmm There’s gotta be single and double digit knifes out there somewhere.by kurt wag - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Howdy Bob Sn: 1355 Born on date: 6/23/16 It’s a pretty big knife for a folder and not very old but I fell in love during the build of it .by kurt wag - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
This has to be one of my favorite natural Barnes knifes . It may look simple but being a MD97 there’s a lot you can NOT see . The detent, smooth hubs and brass attachments with decorative screw heads and lock up really set it off . I’m very lucky to own this one !by kurt wag - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Ahh Gary The old MAZEN test ... it never gets old for me to watch the steel cut the steel ! The only thing better would see the expression of your supervisor’s face ! Exceeding all requirements! Very nice work . I’ll bet he doesn’t even realize the true experience he’s getting hanging out with a cool grandpaby kurt wag - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Great post H It’s been great weather for shooting here but I’ve been ( as we all say ) too busy to get out . I’ve always loved the nitro too . Good to see someone getting Air time !by kurt wag - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Thanks Gary It’s very enjoyable to use them and they make it so much easier to cut . I store them away after and only get them out for butchering. Except for my parring knife . I use that pretty regularly.by kurt wag - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Well I wanted to share a couple of pics of some ANTIQUE Barnes knives . I was cutting up some steaks this afternoon and thought I’d share ! I was lucky enough to get these out of miss Kelly’s kitchen and into mine . I’m not positive but this is a early MS stamp by Master Smith Barnes . It’s a joy slicing these New York strips ! Thanks Garyby kurt wag - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary That turned out wonderful. It look rather smooth and comfortable to the hand . I see MANY years of service for you Bob . Gary it even looks like a hardened pivot (SS) bolt compared to the handle/ scale screws . All for under $600 ??? A very good deal for sure !by kurt wag - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
From Jacob ( my son ) He’s liking the tanto blade style the best . I had to get his opinion since he’s got a couple of Barnes knives too !by kurt wag - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
I like C but I’ve always wanted a tanto blade shape . I really missed out on the extra special black one u made a while back .by kurt wag - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

Happy 4th of July Hopefully y’all are staying safe and healthy. Enjoy some good food and relax! It’s been in low to mid 90’s around here in Michigan with high fire hazards so not to much explosions. just inside sports ! Hehe LET FREEDOM RINGby kurt wag - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Lon Very cool to watch thanks! It really makes you appreciate the efforts gone into the actual steel before even starting to make a blade !by kurt wag - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hello Scott Well most springers ARE airguns and push a diaphragm generating air. This pistol would probably be classified as a catapult gun . The spring is cocked and the coin is seated and it Propels it forward at about 3000 FPS !! ok maybe 2000 FPS. Haha Thanks for filling in for me Gary . I’ve not mentioned to all but I’ve lived on a river in Michigan for 30 years . My wife andby kurt wag - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Howdy Gary That catalog sounds pretty cool . I’d definitely like one to show friends and family. I’ve bragged a lot about your talent but a catalog is a good idea . Also you better keep me on the top of that list for kitchen knives . I’m dying for a small cleaver for chopping. Anyways summer is on the way and dang it’s going to be HOT ! I’m glad your buried in the pines so youby kurt wag - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Pedro I’m so sorry to hear ! I will pray for both of youby kurt wag - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Well you both correct It’s a coin/ nickel shooter . In the late 30’s -40’s Paul Macglashan invented a BB machine gun to train our service men to site shoot !” BB’s for victory “ bb’s we’re cheap compared to training with real ammo .he had a whole shooting gallery set up for training. They were for the gunners that shot out of the back bottom of an airplane. They were remoby kurt wag - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Here ya GO this is TRULY straight outta my pocket ! I’ve carried this since I bought it except for about one month I swapped out the ole tactical skeeter tusk ! I call BS on Big Bore ! I don’t think he had that knife in his pocket! I’ve got coins jammed between the blade where I had to push them out with another coin . This is really the best knife EVER ! If you look closely yoby kurt wag - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Your pretty good . It DOES have to do with money/ coins from the 40’s Here’s a down the ..... barrel view . Not sure yet but I think it was decommissioned by someone and then returned to working orderby kurt wag - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

Pedro Nice work there . So many times I start projects and never get back to them. I sure hope your getting to do some testing soon . Are you able to fire at your home ? It sure makes things easier. It’s finally a little warmer here to get outside but so many MUST DO projects. Your definitely one of the lucky ones still working. I can’t imagine having to go the unemployment routineby kurt wag - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Very sweet set up Gary. All those little things really help . Hey Lon Gary’s probably using one of those MAGIC cleaning erasers in between. Haha Plus once you pay for ONE of those good sanding belts you learn how to make them last . You’ve gotta let the grinder do the work and not over heat the metal. I never scene one ( water tank ) at Gary‘s house Or in his videos but a loby kurt wag - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
