Great shooting! Smart move going from what doesn't suit you to what does. Obviously a wise decision you will enjoy for a long time.by Jerry - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

Nice results Gary. Pity that constant demands on brain power leads to interruptions/alterations in planned sequences!by Jerry - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Funny thing about #3 slugs, they only work if they are a solid design. A mediocre design will barely shoot with #1 grading and super match sorting. None of the super tight groups I shot with the Woodsman or Prairie were with sorted slugs! In fact, I've never spent time sorting slugs for the shooting outings Gary and I used to enjoy. The .3 MOA groups at 100 yards, the 200 yard ground hog kiby Jerry - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Looking great Gary. Waiting on the pot must be annoying as heck!by Jerry - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
That looks real nice Kelly. Gary, remember not to eat anything that's over 600 degrees.... except McDonald's coffee.by Jerry - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Well, gravity can keep you grounded but turnbuckles might be required to keep you from being jiggly!by Jerry - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Heck Gary, we made some that could be reused! Those .87s made out of the "pure medical lead" would practically bounce off a concrete floor back into your hand and sing a tune. If you need to get the remaining lead out of the pot to complete maintenance, use a torch to complete the melting and then do the clean up and circuit checks.by Jerry - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

Ha! Those old mills and lathe are probably better in strength and consistency than any new tools you could buy!by Jerry - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hey, loading up the wagon provided motivation! Gary, The RCBS pot is like 5 times the cost of a Lee but I've bought one and it has lasted about 3 times as long as the first 3 Lee pots did combined and is still going strong. That said, unless you're going to cast by the thousands, it probably won't be worth it, the first Lee pot was fine for just my demand.by Jerry - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

Pedrog, Thanks for the post, very interesting. It's always amusing to me that PB guys think that "sniper rifles" are the most accurate rifles available. They seem to believe that accuracy is the most important quality of the rifle a military sniper uses as a tool of his job. That's largely because they have a misguided view of what snipers do and what they need. Snipers aim for center of mby Jerry - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
New 6 and 7 ring molds each have a couple thousand slugs produced. They seem to be doing alright but I should wait until after the break-in period to comment.by Jerry - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
OK, why is nobody guessing? Since I have no idea, I'll start. 350 fpe with a slug about 50% bigger than a ball, 3 level shots, 1" reservoir and straight grain mahogany stock for light yet strong, action based on V2 concept with sliding breech for less parts/less to need oil or service, finish will be similar to original justice...no bed liner!by Jerry - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

Why can't you declare yourself indigent and then establish BPS as a non-profit charity to support the indigent? You can even let your ward live in the house by the shop you use to make "gifts" for "donors!"by Jerry - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
