Nice Gary, I think most don't understand what it takes to machine a piece like that. Maybe better to show the pile of chips, shavings and filings. Steveby watchman - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Wow, that dial looks to be in perfect condition and made from porcelain I believe. That watch was manufactured about 30 miles from me and sadly the factory is no longer. A better watch from a better time. If it ever starts to lose time it's telling you it needs an overhaul which i can handle. I'm pretty good at those old pocket watches. Looks great Gary. Would love to see a pic of Great Grand Dads pocket watch. I know.... just can't help myself. Maybe I can get it ticking for you. Steveby watchman - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
My eye's are tired. I wonder why? This is an older photo but typical of what i have to deal with. The watch face gives alittle perspective.by watchman - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Oh Boy, really love that assortment. I had all that stuff but really didn't use most of it and in a moment of weakness and cash depletion sold alot of it off. Yeah i do it as a business. Spent 4 hours today of 10 total on a vintage Rolex. I do love it but really hard to make a living from your hands. Just ask Gary. My Goldsmith just gave me his fathers watchmakers tools going back almost 100 yearby watchman - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Thought i would share from the estate of a fellow watchmaker. Kinda Coolby watchman - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

I was thinking of a move down south..... maybe a few more years and i'll even throw in a few old wooded clock cases i have hanging from the wall. If your in the area stop in.... i'll even make you a cup of coffee and snack for your ride back.by watchman - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
