Danny nicknamed it "Fugly" as he thought it was a little ugly for his gun cabinet. I actually like her very much, she sits nicely in my hand. I have re-named her Ms Fugly.
She is a .32 cal fun pistola. I am no great offhand shooter, nor have I much experience with open sights, but it still groups nicely for me at 10 yards offhand as these 2 groups show.

I will pick the best slug for it and start extending the distance a little.

Hi Neil,

That pistol makes a great addition to any gun cabinet. I hope that you enjoy using it and please keep us posted. Could you please give some specs, like filling pressure, shots per fill, fpe, weight, etc,

Thanks,

Julio

Hi Neil!

Thanks for posting.

Hope you have a great time with it!

I can honestly say that Danny has a "Gift for Names". I think he nailed it! wow. I suspect this an incident of function over form. A fun build.

Have fun. Well done Danny!

It actually looks like it was made by Webly. After a quick review of their pistols you'll probably agree.

Not too bad really.

Definitely a function over form type gun, and yes, it does indeed look like something Webley could have ginned up in an alternate world.

So, being a Ms., I suppose you could call her "Dame Fugly" winking smiley

Hi Neil
Looks like fun . I don't see a fitting for HPA , is it under the end cap or maybe Co2 ?
Anyways I can see lots of plinkin time with that. Any removable shoulder stock in the future?
Would be pretty easy to bend up a nice little detachable wire frame .

Julio, Ms Fugly is a rear hammer.32 cal, 240 mm overall length with a 186 mm barrel. Shoots 100 grain cast slugs at around 513 fps (58 fpe), 5 good shots off 3000 psi. Danny calls it an experimental gun, he was playing around with a rear hammer design. He hasn't gone for all out power on this one.

Gary, Lon and Sean, her looks are growing on me the more I see her!

Most of all though, she is nice and easy to handle and I can actually hit a target off hand with her. I found that these heavy spritzers grouped nicely at 10 yards, although Danny would rather I used a lighter slug more consistent with the build and is sending me another hollow point option to try:

I have also practiced a little at 20 yards and at present have about a 50% kill rate on a rabbit paper target. A bit of work to do there yet!

Kurt, the gun uses a Samyang fill probe so the fill port is external on the end cap but not visible side on. No plans for a stock on this one, I need a pistol in my collection!

Below is my "Danny" collection:

Great group! Open sights - offhand. Fine! That would put goat on the table.

Do you know your twist rate Neil?

Getting to be quite the collection!

Is the pistol a rotating hammer, or more like an in-line striker?

Pedro, thanks!
Gary, it's 1:12" pitch.
Sean, it's an in-line striker.
