I finally chased down my knife at the post office . It's incredible how the detent snaps into place opening and closing . I'm really happy with the way it feels in my hand too . I know you said the wide end should have been at blade end of the knife but it feel great . It's like the stag was made to have blade in it . ( you know what I mean ) they just pair together well ! I love it
