Hi Rotorhead, Good luck on your trip to Phoenix. The Tundra model is one of my favorites. At that price this is an offer hard to pass. Please keep us posted. Julioby Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hi Guys: This next Friday, Gerald and I will be having some shooting matches. We will shoot at three different distances and with different targets. This are the rules that we will follow: - At 50 yards we will use two different targets. The first one shows 25 apples with a small dot in the center. - The second 50 yards target shows 12 circles, aprox. 1 ½ “ in diameter, each one witby Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hello Gerald and welcome to this forum, I'm glad that you joined. The challenge is accepted my friend. Now we have to agree on a date to meet at the range. This is going to be fun. And don't get fooled with his whimpy little .22 Sumatra. Gerald goes to the range every Friday from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM and shoots hundreds of pellets thru his Sumatra. He's a great shooter and knows pretty weby Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary: The Victory is a great versatile air gun. This one with the shroud it's going to be very quiet. The built in outrigger for the shoulder stock is a smart addition; this way the owner could adjust the shoulder stock to the desired length. Kent's Chaparral has a similar device and that pistol could be fixed for small kids to shoot it as well as for adults. The owner of this one iby Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hi Guys, It's 12;15 AM on 01-01-2011 here in Puerto Rico. Happy New Year to all and blessings from your friend in the Caribbean! Julioby Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Kent: Thanks for the great post. The pictures are so clear and with excellent contrast. Root is looking good! You did a nice sight selection for your new rifle. The Timber Wolf is ready to go to the field, enjoy it. The only thing missing is...the Davey Croquet hat... Happy New Year, Julioby Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hi Karl, That leather sheath looks nice. I hope that you enjoy carrying your knife around and showing it to your friends. Julioby Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hi Gary: This next Friday I'm planning to return to the range with the Caribou .46. Let's see how it behaves. You know with this year end we are saying good bye to a decade and welcome to a new one. I got to find a way to celebrate this at the range. I'll figure out something. Best, Julioby Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hi Neil, Thanks and yes we had and still are having fun. I hope that the weather has improved for your region. Also, would like to wish you a wonderful Christmas day. Best, Julioby Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hi Guys, Just a note: No human or animal were harmed during the filming of this post... Kent and Lon, Merry Christmas, Santa didn't left me any 8mm.slugs under the tree. Too bad for me because I ran out of ammo for the P. Hawk. Julioby Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
It was December 24, 2010, late in the afternoon. A young handsome guy, named Julio, who lives in Puerto Rico decided to spend a few hours at the range. Julio was having a good time with some friends and the spirit of Christmas was in the air… But something was wrong, we felt like there was something wrong. Here is a picture on another air gunner, he does participate in the FT circuit thatby Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
San Juan, Puerto Rico checking in with highs between 80-82 degrees and lows between 70-73 degrees. Gary, nice pair of scissors, I’m sure that Kelly will enjoy using them… You better behave… I love the way this hawk is looking at you. If he could talk, probably would be saying: Hey you! Stop taking pictures and pay attention to your driving! Please give me some privacy… Merry Chrby Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hi Joe, Just a curiosity; Do you make the leather sheaths or someone else helps you there? They look much elaborated and compliment your knives very nicely. Merry Christmas to you and your family, Julioby Julio - AR Classifieds
Hi Kent, Merry Christmas to you and your family. You are right, I’m exited to try the slugs seated and to compare the results. I got a few twin tails left, so maybe this next Sunday I’ll go to the range and shoot them. I will report the results. Julioby Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hi Lon, Thanks, yes the hammer works like a fine Swiss watch. The most important part is what you can’t see in the video. When this hammer hits the valve, the contact surface of the hammer is like cam lobe on an engine. So the valve will be in contact with the hammer for a very short time and the hammer surface area is like an arc that goes form low to high to low again. I believe that thisby Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hi Gary, Yes, I missed that step. It’s good that you noticed it on the videos. On my next trip to the range I will do it and I will report the results. First I have to place a slug order with Surefire casting. Sorry for the sweaty arm on that video. No, it wasn’t that the weather was too hot. I was anxious and nervous for being in a movie… Julioby Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
You did a great buy, enjoy it and keep us posted. Merry Early Christmas! Julioby Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hi guys, I went to the range on Saturday to follow up on the Prairie Hawk testing, this time on a lighter setting and with a much lighter slug. The day was warm and clear but the wind was blowing too much and in all directions. The normal breeze was from 10 to 15 mph with some gusts reaching the 30 mph. On the next picture I will show you how the power setting knob on the PH was set to shooby Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hi Joe: Beautiful knife, really impressive. It's clear that you are developing your blade smithing skills on a fast track. Congratulations! If you ever make another knife like this one, don't even post it on the forum, just drop me a Private Message and I will buy it. Happy Holidays! Julioby Julio - AR Classifieds
Hi Doug, I'm no expert on this topic but here are my two cents: It has been proven again and again that the heavier the projectile, the longer that it will keep it's energy and the further that it will reach. There's also the ballistic coeficient. It's not only weight that's needed, we need to add the correct ballistic coefficient in order for this projectile to reach those distances andby Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hi Kent, Good memories come to me... We had some great pistol matches on those Cups. Thanks for posting those great pictures. I still have my snow man trophy...Hehehe Julioby Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary and all others, Let me take advantage of your introduction to this topic and write a few words… Christmas is a great time to share with family and friends. I would like to invite you all to celebrate the spirit of this Holiday Season. I would like to wish all of you: Health, Happiness, Peace, Prosperity, Faith and Blessings. Let’s enjoy this special time and welcome a 2011 fby Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hi Jerry, We did some shooting at MS with the bishops. Certainly I have no recorded data. Hopefully I'll go to the range on Saturday and bring the camera with me. I'm running out of 8mm slugs, so an order is on its way. Take care, Julioby Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hi Kent, That’s a fine selection of presents. I’m sure that your wife will love them… See ya in the underground vault and don’t forget to bring your steam iron and the Niagara starch… Merry Christmas! Julioby Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hi Pedro, Could you please post the youtube link to that video? Now I want to see it... Julioby Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hi Lon, I believe that we have ten or twelve ranges on the island. All of them were built using the same layout plan, that’s why they look so similar… (I’m just kidding) Close to the Metropolitan Area there are only two. I know that there are two other guys who shoot air guns in this particular range. One of them owns an Eun Jin Sumatra .22 and a Marauder .177, the other guy owns a Sby Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hi Gary and Pedro, 85 degrees in December is normal for the Tropics. Here the weather is really steady. Yes Gary, I need to pay more attention when selecting the slugs. Last Saturday I just took them out of the bag, oiled them and shoot them. No critical selection was done during the shooting session. Thanks for the advice... Hi guys, This last Saturday found some time and went to the range with the Prairie Hawk 8mm. It was a clear sunny day and the temperature was close to 85 degrees. This was the first time that I shoot it since its arrival to Puerto Rico. Zeroing the scope at 50 yds. was a very easy task and immediately I moved to 100 yds. I did shot a couple of paper targets, but mostly all my shooting waby Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

Kent, I'm glad to see you and Emily having a good time at the woods walk. I'm impressed with your achievements with the Hoss pistol. That bear target is a tricky one to hit, even with an scoped rifle. The bear is painted in a way that blends perfectly with its background. Without doubt the Hoss could be used at the big bore camp!
