Wow Neil, if that’s not the paradise; for sure you do live close to it…hehehe, Beautiful view and nice dog… What type of dog it’s that? It’s that a Dogo Argentino? Best, Julioby Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Nice work Gary! That's a great detail to honor those who have served and those who are in active duty. Julioby Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, Wow, I love it! That’s the perfect touch to identify a Black Diamond class gun. Always giving the extra mile... In what part of the rifle are you planning to install it? Julioby Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Happy birthday Gary! Enjoy your day,,, Julioby Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hello Gary: Of course that I can accept the recall for further research and for the benefit of the hobby , but I will also accept a replacement unit in the meanwhile. Hehehe. Julioby Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hi Jim, "Ladies Model"... Hum, I prefer to call it the "Convenient model". At the end of a long shooting session you end up having good memories and zero bruises. Julioby Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Thanks Jerry.by Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Yes Lon, 80 shots is a lot in any league. So far so good, and expect the same every time that I'll bring it to the range. The Caribou has a lever to cock the hammer, so that makes the shooting experience a more pleasant one. Also this rifle is so well balanced that at this power level it doesn't hurt your shoulder like other big bores do. Common, these rifles were built to be shot...by Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Kent and Neil: Yesterday I was telling Gary about how efficient this rifle was on the air consumption department. I'm impressed and happy about it. When I started the session the cf tank had 4,100 psi and after 80 shots the remaining pressure was 3,100 psi. How about that for a 500 fpe big bore?by Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hi guys, You know the saying: “a bad day at the range is better than a good day at the office”, well… this was a good day at the range… This last weekend I took the Caribou .46 to the range. This time I brought a steel swinging target, it offers a 4 ½” target on the bottom and a 3” target on the top. I love to see them swing after a good centered shot. For some reason afterby Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hi Kent: I'm glad to see you and Emily spending some quality time together. Emily is a great contender on any shooting contest and that woods walk is a real challenge even to the experienced shooter. Nice pictures Kent!by Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hi Gary: What a beautiful sunset. The guy in the Hummer doesn’t look like he has too many friends. Man you got a nice house; and I wouldn’t like to be around when it’s time to do the maintenance, specially painting it. Julioby Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
It sounds like you are having a lot of fun. This is like a milestone in your gun smithing career. In the future when you start writing about your memories they will go like this... Yes, I did that before or maybe it was after Sean's Stainless 62 Woodsman...Heheheby Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Sorry Doug, for a moment I though that this was your first Barnes. 9 years wow, you should have some stories to tell... Julioby Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hi Doug, I’m confident that you and your son will enjoy this rifle. The first Barnes rifle that I had the chance to shoot, at Standing Stone IV, was a Ranger Delta Magnum .32 and thanks to that experience was that I became a Barnes fan. Then at Kent’s a few weeks ago, I had the chance to shoot another Ranger Delta .32 and again it was very satisfying experience. If someone ever askby Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Oh yes, great shooting eagle eye!by Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hey, this is huge. We are talking of a .62 caliber 566 grain slug, hitting a target at 200 yds and almost vaporizing on impact. How much fpe does the slug needs to retain to accomplish this at 200 yds? Who knows, the thing is that this is amazing. I’m no expert on this topic but I would say that Jerry could easily paper punch a deer or a hog at 200 yds with his Yukon. For some reason I beliby Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
For all of you not familiar with the term Shrimp Boil here are a couple of pictures that will help to illustrate it better. The best way to learn more about this-it’s to get there and try it in person… Here is Kent doing some cooking… And here the dinner was served… Enjoy!by Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Thanks Jerry, the rifle did all the hard work. I just looked thru the scope and pulled the trigger. It was good that we ran out of slugs, otherwise I would still be there shooting...heheheby Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Yes Jerry shooting that target was a real adventure. In my opinion that is one of the most challenging shots in the woods walk. Imagine standing on a log shooting offhand while trying to keep in balance. You won't see the target unless you stand on the log. Also it's a lot of fun because if you hit this target it gives you a huge feeling of accomplishment. It's great to see the big smile onby Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Thanks Gary for building such a beautiful piece! This rifle is a jewel. It’s so accurate that I shot a target that was standing sideways, offering me only a ¼” to shoot at a 100 yards, and hit it in my first attempt. It’s so easy to learn and shoot that other persons use it with a lot of success on the big bore range. Knocking down the targets at 143 yards was real easy with this riby Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary: Congratulations on the reveal of this exquisite rifle. For me this one was one of the most expected, because you kept showing parts here and there and raising the expectations. I like the contrast between the receiver color, the brass patina and the stock. The T. Wolf is a nice classic looking rifle that will be a great addition to the collection of any air gunner. Also it combineby Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hello Gary: I'm simply speechless. The finished knife is gorgeous and I have never seen a person cutting steel with a pocket knife. That is a true testament of the quality of that blade. This knife doesn't project how tough the blade is; what I see is a fine gentlemen somewhat victorian knife. No, you didn't impress me with the shaving scenes, I've seen that before on the old cowboyby Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hi Kent: Sounds good to me and we can ask for Gary's new camera, Hehehe.by Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Congratulations Jerry, this one for sure is going to be in duty soon. Please keep us posted. Julioby Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, The trigger guard, that was the missing part needed to finish the T.Wolf. That one looks nice and matches the rest of the rifle. Now we need to see all the parts put together... That stock is also looking real shiny. Thanks for sharing your work in the making with us. Julioby Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hello Gary: Wow, what a nice touch for the Timber Wolf. Will that be also engraved? No, I'm just kidding. Hey you need to go for more cofee... Julioby Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary: Me LIKE it too! You and your teasers... This one is comming along real nice.by Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary: Is this a fishish that will stay as it is? or will it change as time passes? Julioby Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
