Hi Gary: All those carved parts are looking awesome. And a bunch of parts in the anodizing line up. Great! Just to know; What happens to a part that you anodize it and it doesn't show the expected color or finish? Its there a chance to reanodize it or you have to start all over and redo the part from scratch? Julioby Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hey Allen, If you ever get the chance to see his day book, please scan it and send a copy to us. He, he, he.by Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Don, yes the way it's set up right now the max. fill pressure is 3,200 psi. I'm also intrigued by this helium alternative. Let's wait for someones report to see if they validate what's being said. Julioby Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hi Gary: That was a close one! Who said that you are having bad luck? Does this event had to do with the bad weather that is all over the East Coast? Julioby Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hi Neil, It’s good to see you and your buddies having a good time. Thanks for sharing with us those beautiful pictures of your country. Certainly you do live in a beautiful place. Julioby Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hi Gary, You always giving the eeeeeeeextra mile. Splinters,OK, sometimes a picture say more than a thousand words. Julioby Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hi Lon, Glad to see you doing your part. Maybe in a few months you can open the new Barnes Pneumatics Miami Branch... Julioby Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, Congratulations for those excellent groups. I've being doing a lot of shooting at 100 yds lately and it is tough to shoot a good group even at 100 yds. I can only imagine how difficult it must be to accomplish those groups at over 150 yds. Does the slug reaches that distance with enough energy left? Julioby Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Jerry, Happy Birthday!!!! Have a nice celebration with those who love you the most. Julioby Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hi Don, I'm using 3,100 psi and normaly I use it connected to the cf tank. At this set up this rifle will give you two good shots and a third one at half the power.by Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Lon, Yes we were lucky this time. The thing with these weather systems is that you never know when they are going to hit you and how hard the hit is going to be. A few years ago Hurricane George gave us a direct hit as a cat 4 hurricane and we were without energy power for almost a month and a great part of the island was without water service for almost the same period. Hi Florida, No I haven't hunted with the Yukon. The rifle is extremely accurate and powerful. I'm sure that it would take down any of the larger games in the USA. With this same rifle Gary took down his buffalo, with one well placed shot. I can guaranty that when you receive your Yukon, you will enjoy hunting with it. That's for sure... Gary, Now that you showed the Timber Wolf stock from other angles it really show some complex curves. Wow! This one is looking classically beautiful. Jerry's Yukon is in a class of its own. I WANT one of those cheek pieces, but mine made out of a whale tooth. He, he, he. We know that this Yukon will be used and documented for us to enjoy.by Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, Wow! The carving is an excellent compliment to this already beautiful rifle. I like it, this one is going to be exceptional. Most artists depend on the inspiration to perform their work. Can you plan to do this type of work or do you wait until the inspiration comes to start doing the stock carvings? Julioby Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary: This stock is looking gorgeous. The magic is in the details... I would like to learn that technique. Yes, the one that you draw something in the stock and later you find a carving exactly following the lines of the drawing ... Just kidding.by Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hello Gary: This one is looking good. I've always liked this model. It's impressive how much work you have to do within the stock to fit the air gun in it. Those are the things that are there but no one appreciates because they are in the shadows. What is that at the bottom of the pistol grip?by Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
The only thing missing is a bed, a microwave oven, a cooler and you can stay overnight on your shooting outing. Excellent job!by Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Well Lon and Gary both of you guess it right. This phone book was shot at 50 yards with the Yukon II using the 450 grains slugs. This time I wanted to test how deep within this phone book the .58 slug would get and then analyze the slug deformation in the process. I rested the phone book against a standing wooden pole at 50 yds. Then I shot the first shot and the book didn’t move so I seby Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Here you will see two pictures of the Puerto Rican Metro Area phone book. On the first picture it shows a thickness of 3 ½ inches. On the second picture the same phone book shows a thickness of maybe 7 inches, I’m guessing here because I didn’t measure it. The thing is… What happened to this phone book between the first and the second picture? More later…by Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hi Gary, Good luck with this next set of injections. This one is looking good! Can't wait to see it in the field. Looking at this pictures it seems that you have given a lot of thought to solve the open sights issue. Julioby Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hi Gary, It’s nice to see, for a change, that the reservoir tube is hidden within the stock. I don’t want to affect the final product with my comments, but from my point of view this rifle is looking good!by Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hi Florida: This picture was taken a while ago.by Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
I believe that they are 280 grains. I use Speer and Hornady in .57 caliber.by Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hello Gary, I still got the original box with the invisible slugs that came with the rifle. Last Saturday I tried to shoot some of those and guess what…by Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, I have always liked the long rifles. The Timber Wolf looks like an air gunners must have; powerful, light and classic. I’m impressed of how quick you can move from a futuristic rifle like the Barracuda to a more classic looking rifle like the Timber Wolf. I really hope that you continue feeling well. Are there any post production upgrades available for the Yukon? I got a few in my wish list. Starting with the cup holders…by Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
This last weekend I found a break and went to the range. I brought with me the Yukon II. This is a .58 caliber air rifle capable of shooting a 450 grains slug at aprox. 840 fps and the .57 round ball at aprox. 960 fps. It’s a powerhouse. Here you will find pictures of my best groups of the session; they were shot at 50 yds. Usually I start shooting at 50 yds and then I move to a 100 yds. Laby Julio - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
