Jerry, After Gary called yours a sniper and his a cannon. I think they would both be under the sniper category. Just a matter how much power they carry at the end. Doryby Dory - Video Library
Gary, After what Jerry just said. Make that 200 yds. And go buy an ATV that fits in the war wagon. Secret slugs for a one of a kind rifled gun/caliber. Nice. So if their not the same, would the Woodsman slugs fly true it. Just curious if you tried a couple. Doryby Dory - Video Library
Gary, Do you use the same slugs as in the Woodsmen? Looks like you got 100yds sited in good. Now for 150 yds. nice shooting. Doryby Dory - Video Library
Well, I'm glad you live on the other side of the world then. Looks like I'm going to have to get one of those Fort Knox safes.Doryby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

JIm, How did you know it was made of sycamore? It wasn't mentioned on website. Doryby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Has anybody heard about these. Or is it like 100 mpg carburetor. Doryby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Jerry, It's been mentioned the 700+ guns. But I was trying to remember and look on the sight where the actual numbers were stated. I was thinking Gary had modified the Yukon power plant a little. The Justice gets a lot of it's numbers by the sheer weight of the bullet. I believe it has a different design than the Yukon class. Doryby Dory - Video Library
Gee, Everybody sees to miss the fact it's a rifled .62 not smoothbore. Plus it's the highest energy air rifle that's Gary's made. At least I don't remember any. Of , course my memory might be off a little. Were using 3200 psi air?Doryby Dory - Video Library

Gary, I hope that dream was about designing machinery that turns out a incredible Barnes Diamond. Doryby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, I thought I would throw in my 2 bits. I've had several discussions over the years on this. I'm sure you, Gary, have got tired of my ideas. Ha Ha If you ever did make a gun like the guys mentioned it would definitely be one of kind and take twice as long to make and cost appropriately. I think you already started the Black Diamond series, just couldn't put a name to iby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, I have a lot of time off this summer. If you need any help cleaning your shop, I can come over and help clean up those shadows. Jerry and Jim see, what you been missing. Let's see hunting season starts in October. Somebody is going to get a early Christmas present. Doryby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
So with the longer barrel how long is it overall, about 55"? Doryby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Have they ever put a bounty on them. Doryby Dory - The Hunting Camp
My nephew found a nice buck in woods. That had been shot in the butt, had been dead probably a week at least. He was hunting after the slug season, in the muzzleloading season. You wonder how long it lived before it died. Doryby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
My daughter would disagree with you, her's have to be across. Doryby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
The gun they show has carbine barrel. With the Alpine and long barrel how high does the scope go and still see over end. And would that be easy to shoot? Or maybe easier. You guys probably need a longer range to make it worth while. I'm sure one of you will have one by end of month so the rest of us can get a field report before we buy one. Doryby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Cabela's, carries the longer cases. If your surfing for one, they are usually listed under muzzleloader cases. Doryby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Pablouk, You ought to get together with Gary and design/build Barnes special bigbore scope. Then the only thing he wouldn't build on it, are the o-rings and the actual glass in the scope. Doryby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
I have a story about liquid oxygen. This guy I knew was in the miltary long time ago, and they used LOX for some airplane oxygen supply. He told me this story. They were always messing around with the stuff, freezing things in the over flow pans. One day they caught a rat int the tire shop and they threw it in the pan of LOX and froze it instantly. And then they picked it up by it's tailby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
I can hear sometimes the first click on the trigger, but it's just a bang to me. I just thought you had figured out a way to tell, port closing, bullet leaving. The Hoss is a really loud gun .45 short barrel. The .87 not as loud as you would think it would be with one of the longest barrels. Did you have to tinker with the springs, with them? See one question. Of, course you know what the neby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
I guess when Jim gets that high speed laser trap set up. Take picture just as it leaves barrel and see the barrel, not move. maybe. I sure can't tell by listening. I type so slow, I usually have another question before I finish the first one. To make thread longer, I guess I'll ask one at a time. Wouldn't want to slow you down in shop with finger burn. Doryby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
I understand all that. And I assume the port is much bigger, or the spring holds it opens a lot longer or a combination of both in the difference of a .25 vs .87. I don't need the details. My question, is, you mentioned, the bullet exits about the time the valve closes, does this affect accuracy much, if it's before? And does it take longer for the bigger bore? And since the bigger guns haveby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
We had a bunch of logs cut up at my Dad's farm for farm lumber several years ago. I've had this walnut slab laying in the barn loft, probably 20 years. He has a 24" planer, I need to plane it and send you some pictures and see if it's worthy of being attached to a Barnes. Doryby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, I like reading about how they work. But I realize you can't let to much out of the bag. So that's been covered about as far you can go. I also like the wood aspect. All the way from how you pick a chunk from the dealer to how you finish them out in leafs and stains. A lot of decisions are made in each little step and I enjoy that. Well, It's obvious, you need to go to the big box and buy another 20 pounds, so that you can make it bigger and able to stop the .58. Doryby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
