Joe,I thought the same thing. I told myself, he can't be hurt. But I was trying figure out what that stuff was in relation to carving wood just couldn't figure it out. Then I read story, it made sense. What did you to clean up with, goop hand cleaner. Have ever used American cherry for a stock? Doryby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
I'm sure if Kelly was there she would have dragged you off to emergency care. You must have looked the sight head wounds are usually bloody. Your lucky you didn't bounce off something else as tight as your shop is.Take a couple more days off you deserve it. Go wood shopping. Doryby Dory - I'm just sayin'
Well, I needed a good laugh. That was gut buster. To bad you didn't video. I know, your not suppose to laugh when somebody is bleeding. Gun is looking good. Almost to bad you have to put wood on it. Don't forget the camouflage blanket to wrap around his knees. It's raining right now. You guys are next. Doryby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Well at least Kelly will be dry. There's another big rain front coming through tomorrow. You should see it Sun/Mon. I'm sure that's what you wanted to hear.Doryby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
The one time I used the slime stuff, I was on vacation. When I got to the tire shop he couldn't find the leak. He said it was probably a small leak. Had another flat, same vacation, different tire. I found it in hotel parking lot, flat. Didn't use that stuff wanted them to find the hole. Really don't trust it, as long term fix. Doryby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
If they get 3", that's a good size. Most of the giant species won't stand zone 5. Maybe you could sell them off every fall, for the people that decorate with that kind of stuff or use as screens. oriental style. Let them do the cutting. Doryby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
I want some that is large diameter not just tall. My parents have some but it doesn't spread to fast because it's under trees.Doryby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
I always wanted some large diameter bamboo. Doryby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
You can tell when the weather is nice in Spring. Hardy any post. Everybody to tired from working in yard to type. Doryby Dory - I'm just sayin'
So what kind of deal do you have with the farmer, thinning his trees for him. Doryby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Really nice. I'm sure when you finish. It will be a WOW how did he do that.. And if you don't want to sell your knife don't show it here. It's like keeping a secret. If you want to keep it you don't tell nobody. Doryby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Yeah, I do creep in a little. from time to time. Every once in awhile I get to close. I got bushy eyebrows. So that's my early warning system. Switching from contacts to glasses doesn't help. When I get a scope I always make sure it has a lot of relief. I found that how relaxed I am has a part to. Would I have to have four sittings since I shoot with contacts and glasses. Would that be wiby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
So if I just want modify my stock so the scope doesn't hit me. Do I just cut a tennis ball in half and cut it till it conforms to the stock and then duck tape it on. Doryby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Happy Easter everybody. Had a good weekend. It's been raining since Friday. 4" so far expecting that much more next 24.. Tell a little story. Took my Niece and her husband morel hunting Sat. He's a city guy. She is to, but has been before. So were out looking, taking them to some of my secret spots at my Dad's farm. I had shown him one before we left. So he would know what to look for.by Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Well, When the Master has spoken and he's covered most of the bases. Doesn't leave much for us chickens to peck at. I always just like the look of more wood. it would give you more area to carve on. Doryby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, I'm still here, just stepped out for over a year. trying to catch up on old post might take awhile. Will try to start posting again send a picture or two. Impressive case, as my creative son would say simpler is sometimes more elegant. Doryby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
I mentioned it a couple of months ago that I couldn't find anything about it this year. Looks like it's Nov 14th. 350 yds I believe is the longest shot. Doryby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Looks like you saved some space on the stock for some carving. Nice lever, not all of us are muscle men. Doryby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Makes me fill better about using power tools. I go out of my way to be safe when using them and stuff still happens every once in a while. I got weed eater tangled the other day. In process of putting head together lost a 1" diameter spring, never did find it. Looks like a comfortable grip coming along there.Doryby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, Yeah, of the 3 big bores you have shot recently. Mine was the real light weight at 700 ft lbs. That's really something. For the guys that haven't shot one yet and love watching the slugs travel down range in the video. I've always have a habit of blinking, when I shoot. I've been training myself to keep my eyes open. It really pays off when shooting these bad boys. Because you actuallby Dory - Gary's Galleries
Well, I knew if I took enough lousy photos that Gary would have to publish the good ones. Like the Dragon with the deep lacquer finish, depending on the light, takes on different looks. There's actually, like a half dozen different patterns all blended together. While I was waiting for twilight last night, just walking around, watching it change, all the time, really neat. Here it is, Twilight camo in it's natural setting, twilight. Doryby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Well guys you can tell I'm not the best photo guy. But this is what I got for now. Doryby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
As we know, no 2 of Gary's are a like, most models though fit a general look. The .62 and .87 of the one I've see, had a rear clamp or tower. This was put in front of the action. And has Jerry said couple of other minor changes. The action was moved forward so we could put those humongous scope on them. And main support is a little beefier. Just thought I would generate a little discussion. Aby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Twilight, The sun sets at 8:06 today guess I'll have to wait till then to see if it works. Doryby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
I didn't use the lead sled. Was sitting down shooting over a wheel barrel handle. Even though it's legal to shoot. I live in the back of a subdivision, don't want to possibly upset the neighbors. So didn't want a lot of shots. The plugs do help a lot, I've already lost to much hearing don't want to loose any more. It isn't mystery. Just, if your a Justice fan. Besides the longer barrel, ohby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
I haven't got a scope yet. Not really a scope guy. Any suggestions. I shot it twice behind house. Isn't that loud. Of, course had plugs in. Doesn't really kick that much, long barrel, heavy, so that helps. Will shoot more over long weekend. Doryby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Jerry, Haven't got around to close up's yet, thought Gary would have some. Keep looking. Doryby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
OK let's see who's looking real close. Doryby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
