Jerry, Since this came back to top again. Did you ever shoot these out of your smooth bore .62 to see how they fit, and fly? Doryby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Jerry what PSI were you using? Is your Yukon set up to get two balanced shots? Doryby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Well, If you ever open the castle gates, I'll be there, in my tent waiting. Just open them slow so I don't get run over by the thundering herd. Doryby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
What pressure were you you using? The .62 seemed quieter than my .62 carbine. To bad it would be a major overhaul to convert mine. Wanna trade even. doryby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Well, Nobody talked about the stock yet. With that wide range in the power set up . Grain patterns like that are rare. First picture that really revealed the pattern. Doryby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
I've still got mine. Maybe I should hang it on the wall. Next time I'll have a case shipped there, if you won't let me come and get it.. Cabela's has a real long aluminum case. Doryby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Watchman, I've been trying to convince wife to let me buy backhoe . I like your setup, have been looking at mini-excavators also. Will probably end up with a used one I can put on a 3 point hitch of my Dad's tractor. Which is a lot cheaper. Since I'm trying to also save up for another one of Gary's guns. Doryby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
I started by moving dirt, shovel broke. So went shopping with wife. Would have been cheaper and easier day if shovel wouldn't have broke. By new one tomorrow. Doryby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Jerry, 7% minus taxes means I would lose power. I like the quieter part though. Doryby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
So what would happen if you made a 48" barrel for my .87 in 10 years when your caught up. What does a lot more power mean.? Doryby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
I was up at my Dad's farm mowing, Saturday and a neighbor stop by. He had just come from a Turkey shoot. He had just bought a gun their that was a Outlaw shotgun. I had never seen one before. Was regular 12 gauge shotgun with a 48" barrel. This particular one was stainless. He said they use them at special Turkey shoots at 60 yards. Instead of usual 25-30 yards. It was made so you could put dby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
I guess I'm the only one that you got hooked. You usually don't post late on Sun. Are they thick enough to carry Mentos in them? Doryby Dory - Gary's Gun Room
Pretty. What's the size? will they tarnish like regular silver? must of had a long supper. Doryby Dory - Gary's Gun Room
Sounds great. One more step up, for your bench rifles. Will you be able to get 2 balanced shots at that power, with the 1" tubes.? Since you probably shaved a couple of pounds off the rifle with, smaller frame, no bolt, and 1" tube can feel the difference in your shoulder? Doryby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
When I first saw it on the old site several years ago. I thought what a beautiful gun. I thought I would never see it up close. Then when it showed up at Joe's place and I got to shoot and admire it. That was over the top. Take real good care of it Jim. Doryby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
If you were you, could show most of us, how to shoot. Doryby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
I guess, since we didn't see any scalded skin pictures all the bluing sessions turned out great. Probably ordered ordered a couple hundred pound of the salts, you were short of. or can you keep reusing that stuff. Probably loss 10 pounds that day.in your caustic sweat house. The gun that Julio has. Was that the other type of bluing where it turns out more of a browning? Dory Hey you gotby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
You should warn us when you have a 2 cup post. Had to make another cup of tea just to finish it. When I was reading the 3rd paragraph. it reminded me of a quote in Mondays paper. "Before I can live with other folks I've got to live with myself. The one thing that doesn't abide by majority rule is a person's conscience". That was a good time. Here's a picture from another shoot. To show you the vast selection that can show up. I even got a good canoe trip in, from a outfitter I was camping with, by the river. Doryby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hope you find some relief. So what's the longest pan. Doesn't look like you got a 48 incher yet. Doryby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Rotorhead Those are leaf patterns most of them look like black oak leaves. Part of the personal design service. We sorta had this discussion about base colors. Had no Idea what was coming. The dragon wasn't out yet. He was leery that I might not like it. artist to a non-artist type. Gary knew I was into trees. So that's how the leaf pattern came about. There's actually several different patterby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
One thing I don't get tired of when I shoot is the slow but powerful slug. In bright sunlight it's like shooting a tracer. When I don't blink. Sounds like a cannon. and hits a like a hammer. And I really don't think the recoil is that bad. Just don't do it often enough. Allen suggested starting with lower pressure but that low, wouldn't mechanically work right I believe. Sounds like a MFG warning. So are my guns safe with Helium? I don't want to inviolate my warranty or take a bolt down my throat. I already had my tonsils out. Doryby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, I believe it was 2009. it came out same time as twilight camo. Still looking good. Those two side by side at Kent's place were impressive. Doryby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Yeah, I like that to. Got a real little ding.. Touched it up. Can't even tell where it is any more. With the complex paint scheme makes it easier. Don't get tired of looking at it. Doryby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
So is it easier doing the dragon skin or the twilight camo? Doryby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
interesting gun. Sounds like something the government would buy. If you take the idea and cut the bad parts out. Let's see. Round ball, multiple barrels, 3 axis spin. And works every time. Sounds like a Barnes special edition. Use it for pest management. Set it up in barn. Lock out the farm animals. Use your non- penetrating rounds. Have a remote camera. Sit in your study and blast them. Ha Hby Dory - I'm just sayin'
Yeah, They say it's on the truck. Then you get the sub and he makes a quick knock on the door. And before you get to the door he's driving down the driveway. And you have to chase him down. But it sure is worth it. I know your not doing boxes anymore. But I still have mine sitting in corner. Someday have to store it out of sight. Best box I ever got. Doryby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
OK I'll bite. Yeah, my driveway has a couple of places of root lift. I just keep filling the cracks in. Some day I'll have to make the decision of surgery or raise the whole section of the driveway with new asphalt. I just redid my patio with new paver's. So hopefully it will be several years before I have to lift it. I don't have monster cherry, just large trees. Depending on speciesby Dory - I'm just sayin'
So do you get the kind that has moisturizer or lanolin in it. How do keep your hands from drying out and cracking.. Cherry has always been one of my favorite woods. I figured it wasn't used on guns much, from durability issues. Or maybe cause it starts out almost white and takes a few years to age. Doryby Dory - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
