Didn't even think about the fact that your boys probably read this forum. Maybe some wives as well... Lol, when the veneer of decency is as thin as mine, the corseness shows through on occasion...by Pablouk - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Oops, sorry chaps, wasn't thinking (no change there then) Appologies if anyone was offended.by Pablouk - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Lol, I suspect everyone chuckled at the same point as you Gary when you showed the hole!!! That was highly amusing! I reckon even the Ballistic Bear wouldn't stop that!! Great postby Pablouk - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Jerry, Yes, cack is indeed a term used for grime Its Southeast England slang , sort of a humourous word for it. Kinda works well when said in a sentence like, "I was covered in (deep) cack!!" edited by Jerry, no offense was intended by anyone here but I don't want even substitutes for harsh words here per the family access without explanations intent of the site.by Pablouk - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Unless one works in an office, don't we all have grease sweat and cack on our hands??!! I must wash mine at least ten times a day to remove sticky old beer, soft drink syrup and cellar crud!! I've sen your workshop Gary, you had better add sawdust and metal muck to that list..by Pablouk - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Ha! Mine has been tested for recoil. By my 5 year old daughter!!!!!! Still works.by Pablouk - The Gear Shack
Is the wood even darker where you handle it often( foregrip, around the trigger etc) ?? Does sweat, grease and cack from your hands get through the finish?by Pablouk - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Brilliant video Jerry That Gel really does catch those bad boys!! Did you get any total penetration? I wonder if a smaller, faster pellet would get through? Being in 'Farmers Land' here, I could get hold of a few fresh animal parts....... If I'm feeling grusome enough I might get hold of a sheep/pig head and see what happens..!! Would be interesting to see what a Surefire Slug does tby Pablouk - Video Library
Thanks guys. Other 3 rabbits, shooter had LOS but the camera operator did not Still got to get the camera mounted on the rifle, things will be somewhat easier then... Thanks for the post Neil. Mmmmmm bigboreby Pablouk - The Hunting Camp
Very poor I'm afraid Got 4 but only managed to get this one on video, and you only just see the kill . Camera was trying to focus on the hedge, and it looked alot worse on the camera screen than it was. It was luck really that the rabbit was in the frame...... Very easy shot at about 25-30 yards.by Pablouk - The Hunting Camp
Gary, Its a Gunpower Storm (well, frame at least) with a 21" .25 LW poly' barrel. And that rooster is gonna go missing one of these days..... Going to clear some rabbits a bit later and will take the camera with me, so hopefully some decent video to post.......by Pablouk - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Oh good, I'm glad its not just me that seems to encounter pretty much every ignorant, socially non-functioning welfare grubbing fool out there!!! Luckily I now work for Miller who own some expensive european lagers that I install at posh places. Before I was working for the general breweries which meant that I had to go in all the spit and sawdust pubs. Good grief, the dregs of humanity that uby Pablouk - I'm just sayin'

Lol, true, rabbits don't need much. Just a quick nick in the tummy skin, rip her open a bit, empty out, undress her!! Its the nick in the tummy and a couple of cuts for the skinning that gives me an excuse for a new knife ! Something short, black handle and short blade. My trusty old rabbit knife has gone awol in a field somewhere..by Pablouk - AR Classifieds
Got any wadcutters/hollowpoints ?? That might make the video a bit more dramatic!! Surprised at how un-eventful the shots were. First video I couldn't really see if it was being shot or not! Those rounds are just too quick to do much obvious damage...by Pablouk - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Nice I'm keeping an eye out on this section now as I'm sure one of your knives is gonna have my name on it sooner or later!! I'm after a good knife for cleaning out and skinning rabbitsby Pablouk - AR Classifieds
Ah, very neat Taby Pablouk - The Hunting Camp
Mmmmmm ! Light wood and polished steel really does it for me....by Pablouk - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

Can you show a close up of how you attached the camera to the scope?by Pablouk - The Hunting Camp
Great shot placement. He was dead before he hit the ground by the look of itby Pablouk - The Hunting Camp
Quote-I figure that if I REALLY need to fire it at a bear, the recoil will be a fairly minor concern. -Quote LOLby Pablouk - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Great post!! Video not working but the guns look mighty fineby Pablouk - The Hunting Camp
Ah!! That is really cool Fantastic looks AND performance... Best of both worlds! I suggest you ship her over here so I can test it on our demanding B road contry lanes Is it auto or manual?by Pablouk - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
I think its a good idea. Barnes guns need not even be mentioned(why would you need to when you have the maker on site!!??)by Pablouk - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
I can imagine it would hurt!! No mass to absorb the recoil meaning its the shooter sucking it all up!! Ouch!!!by Pablouk - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Mmmmmmmmm, big V8 !! Fantastic looking car dude DON'T TRY ANY CORNERS!!!! As an Englishman, I reserve the right to mock the handling of your cars!! (gets back in his 1.6 litre sewing machine looking smug!) You guys can put a man on the moon, fly aircraft at hypersonic speeds, make the most awesome sounding and performing engines, but ya' just don't make 'em go round corners??!! I think you will find that Harry used to shave with his .357. Thats what I was refering to...... He also cleaned his nails with an old .45 And had handgrenades with milk for breakfast. So there.by Pablouk - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hey!!!! If Dirty Harry says its as powerful as a 16" naval gun, thats good enough for me. Come to think of it, SW must owe alot to ol' Harryby Pablouk - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Just popped in for a cuppa, on my way to my last job.... Hope you not feeling too bad now Gary. Lots of back problems in my family too, though not in the same league as yours though. I know you are not looking for sympathy, but I really do hope it gives you a f*$%ing break . Many nights of seeing my mother on the floor in agony gives me a rough idea of what its like...
