Ah - too late Rotor. Your barrel was the perfect hinge pin for the trigger release! OK ... fine ... I won't build one ...by barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Let's see - it's 10:05 pm. Just came in from the shop. Wasted yet another day with flawed seamless tubing. Found deep scratches inside the stainless steel seamless tubing frame for a gun that I'm trying to complete. Right ... this IS the replacement tubing for the last crappy tubing I got. Hi Peter, Welcome again. I'm sure everyone will enjoy your posts. They tell me they just expect whatever I post - so feel little need to comment. I'd have to go nuclear to get a rise out of most readers. I tried to set up the forum so it wasn't an endless contest rigged to stroke my ego. But - I can't get into people's heads and make them post. I know that what you are doing is way beyonby barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hi Neil, I'd like some changable weather here right now. It's been rainy, cold, and blowing for days. I feel like a North Sea Fisherman! Hope your hunt goes well. Watch out for those crazy Emuuuuu's Garyby barnespneumatic - I'm just sayin'

Lon, Gosh .... I didn't know it was impossible! No wonder it requires thought ... hahhaa. Garyby barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hi Lon, Don't bother with the wooden dowel. It will just skate, and won't be uniform. Get a small Dremel brand wire brush. Stainless or carbon steel. Use rather coarse buffing compound. You must condition the brush ... which means touching it down onto a steel surface a bunch of times until it forms it's comfortable smashed out shape. Might just be a total flare ... or a swirled knot. Wby barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hi Lon, You can do some great engine turning with a drill press, a small wire brush, and some buffing compound. Sounds as if you are enjoying your project. Good job. Hey - I didn't think they sold shoe polish in Miami. Don't you all wear flip-flops? Garyby barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
I think they call that "maturity" Tom. Wise advice. I always just worry myself til I bust a thread. hahahby barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
The Yukon 2 is a beast of a 58 caliber. After a whoooooole bunch of lead downrange, the bolt started sticking. Julio and myself, kicked around what may be the cause. Then; I told him how to remove the top end of the rifle and ship it to me. When I tore it down, nothing was damaged. The only thing I found was a machined delrin breech seal that was grabbing the bolt nose very tightly. Howevby barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hey - am I the only one on my feet? Last man standing - so to speak? hahah. Everybody chatting up Aunt Sally? Listening to Uncle Bob's account of what the economy needs? Wow - can't imagine some of that hasn't driven you to check in here. haha. I've been bouncing around like a ping pong ball. This project and that. Well, we had a fine day. Hope you did too. Just finished it off with watching "Pumpkin Chunkin 2010". What a fine way to end the day. Gosh, I wish I didn't have a couple of real good ideas of how to make those pumpkin cannons work better .... Garyby barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

I hope all of you have a great day. We have a multitude of blessings to be thankful to God for. Kelly and I will start the morning, having been invited to the diner we like, by the owners for a special invitational breakfast. Very nice of them. We'll have Thanksgiving Diner with out family at the home of our Son. He's serving in the USAF in South Korea, but a whole bunch of inlaws and ouby barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Actually - no. I stopped. Steadied the camera. Had the steady control feature on. Telephotoed out. Had it set on 14meg. And, after all that prep and careful work, I was lucky. ;?)by barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Reminds me of my Son-in-law. They lived in Florida, where he was born. He'd rather fish than breathe. And, to relax ... he'd swim offshore about 200 yards, and them swim parallel to the shore for hours. Just "looking" around. Well, he only had an old canoe. And, he'd take it waaaay out and "shark hunt". Yeah. Honestly. On occasion, he was literally approached my a Coast Gaurd Cutterby barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
We rode out to a local restaurant the other day. Passed the local community college. You could not get another car into the parking lot. And, we commented how many jobs there are going to be for all those persons. You are correct. It's the standard attitude that vocational schools are for dummies and trouble makers who have washed out in the REAL college programs. Hello Julio, Sorry I'm late to the party. Somehow, last evening, I read the forum up here in the office ... and Kelly looked at it downstairs. The Forum considered both computers to be "me". So; she saw your post, and I missed it ... though I can't imagine how. Excellent post. I love to see the guns in the field. That's a bunch of splats. Hi Jerry, So ... old Orville and Wilber weren't crazy after all ... with their "warp wing" control. ;?) Yes - it is a beautiful thing to watch. The high speed video of insects I've seen is amazing. And ... the things stay together! hahah. Garyby barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hi Neil, You're right ... and it was at least 50 yards away. Heck ... more like 65 yards away. AND ... I just HAND HELD the camera out the truck window!!! Garyby barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hi Lon, Yes - I'm thrilled with the camera. Real 10X optical zoom in a pocket camera. It has a much larger lens and 14.2 meg-pix. The thing has two speakers for video - excellent quality. Amazing. What you describe sounds amazing too. Wow ... $15 digital movie camera! hahah. I've seen the under $10 digital still camera at WalMart for some time. Oh ... also cut the die plate for the Black Diamond Sterling Silver plates. I have not taken an imprint yet. Had to rebuild the presss. It works. We'll see how the plate prints. I'll let you know. Garyby barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
