Just a note. Sort of a fill in the blanks. There's been a bunch of wasted time required by this cursed estate I'm still locked into processing. Meetings and more meetings. And, more required. It continues to be a millstone around my neck. Not surprisingly, I've had a ton of headaches again lately. Go figure. Oh ... the truck is back to 12 miles a gallon again. And, no dash lights oby barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hi Neil, That's some fine shootin' Tex. Good job. The gun is doing a great job. Slug looks very good - flies wonderful. Like the scope too. Looks like you have it dialed in. Now you just have to get the varmints to hold up range paddles .... haha ... and you are golden! ;?) Garyby barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
They are the gift that keeps on giving Lon. Every one I deliver is worth at least twice what I was paid for it. And, they've taken me three times as long as I anticipated. That's because I just naturally do things to current levels of detail. It's a curse. I like the guns. Just not the time involved. Garyby barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hi Kent, Yeah ... I had to try dozens and dozens of combinations before anything fit! hahaha. No ... those are individual numbers - by the pc. They're all recorded on the ledger sheets as to what they are - who they go to - details, etc. So; I pulled the set from here and there where they were stored. Heck no ... your Yukon is number 6,795 ..... ..... hahahhhahh Garyby barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Couple of inches I think ... .... hahahahh It varies. Mostly about 110 - 187 thousandths probably. The knock overs are a good 5/16th ... and they show pockmarks and bends too. BIG slap down stuff! hahah Garyby barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
I've had to wait for materials to come in to continue on the Alder Delta 32 project. I found that I was out of the particular chrome moly tubing for the shroud tube. One supplier didn't carry it (which I'd recalled did before) ... and so I had to order it from Georgia. It will get here and I'll continue. In the mean time, I've been working on the Butler 56 Bison. Now Kent ... THAT's just bragging. When you consider your 45 caliber 200+ fpe pistol to be "small bore" ... hahahah. We'll talk. Garyby barnespneumatic - The Hunting Camp
Boy, that takes the cake. Homeschooler's good test scores lift the average for the dumbed down public program ... The swarm of public government always finds a way to feed off of the private achievers. Garyby barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hi Sean, Good for you. I bet you'll be flying between Alaska and Washington, D.C. constantly now. We appreciate having someone on the "inside". You're going to have to learn all the current buzz phrases. Learn to talk for ten minutes without taking a position or using a verb. God love ya. Hope it goes well. Hello Julian, Welcome. We hope you enjoy posting and commenting here. I never found a book Julian. It hasn't been written yet, as far as I know. You need a very good background in machine work. So; books that teach you to become a machinist are part of the equation. You need to acquire a knowledge of how airguns function. Much of that can be learned by working on production airguns.by barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

OK ... WHO is going to step up and participate this Winter? Last year, we posted some targets, and then several of us shot, and then posted our targets. Can anyone suggest any changes that might make it more enjoyable, and encourage more participation? I'd like to suggest you can only use aluminum strip and tape sights! Whatdoya think? haha I'll try to think of some interesting taby barnespneumatic - The Hunting Camp
Hi Tom, Yes, I'm ashamed too..... hahah,. What can you do ... you TRY to show the light ..... Gosh ... I could feed the elves for a year for that scope ..... Garyby barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Good - glad you got out. Hey - you could brush that camo stock with a soupy solution of concrete patch mix, and then spray grafitti on it .... blend right into the urban jungle then! Garyby barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
You guys had the afternoon off. The forum was down for about 4 hours here. Should have given you all time to think up a new thread? Anybody shooting? Garyby barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
cleaning and organizing. What a let down! Nobody did it while I was away. Amazing what the final push of a few guns do to the shop. Gosh ... try as you might to stay on top of it ... every flat surface collects small tools and "stuff". The floor starts to rise up to meet the ceiling. Shavings, sand paper, odds and ends ... parts that roll off the bench and hide. That nice orderly hourby barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hi Kent, You will love this. Yes ... the furnace ended up pretty much the same .... I had the furnace put in in 87. I've maintained it since. It had developed the characteristic of not wanting to come on (going off early and putting up an error light requiring manual restarting). So; I'd first set the ignition points. You can't have the points arcing directly in the spray of oil. Theyby barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

Hey ... do you drive a vehicle? yeah .. me too. Well, my Dodge Ram has the 5.7 HEMI (right ... had to have the big bore). Well, I've kicked myself for years ... cause ... it only got 14.4 mpg on the computer as an average when it was new. (Heck - it's only got 36 thousand now after the 2,600 I just put on it with the Miss. trip). But ... the milage was actually better, when on the intersby barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

Adding this in. Here's where we are going ... the Delta 32 Mag. I delivered several years ago for Doug's other Son. Just so you don't jump to conclusions ... this is NOT the new gun finished. This is the previous one. This one will be very similar. Garyby barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Jerry, Which ever ones Julio likes best. .568" Karl won't have shot them, so won't have data on them. I suspect either the 450 or 469. Perhaps a mixed order from which he can decide a winner. Poor gun .... "Off the shelf ... muh ... ma ...muzzle loader slugs" ... .... I'm surprised the rifle hasn't gone on strike .... Garyby barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Kent, Karl, Kent's comment reminded me. I'd intended to mention it before. I've found that it benefits accuracy, to have the front rest as far forward on the gun as possible. Kent has gotten decent accuracy off his sled rest, I've not had the same luck from mine. I always bag the gun as far forward and as far back as possible. Avoiding any rest near the pistol grip or center section of thby barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hi Neil, That sounds like a great offer. I'm going to put that on my "think list". Garyby barnespneumatic - The Hunting Camp
Thank you Karl, I do enjoy both the photography and the jewelry. Ya know ... Kelly has a nice eye for pics. She's taken some great shots of Hawks that I helped her get close enough to ... by turning the car around ... whistling like the guy in Caddy Shak set the Hawk's mind at ease ... hahah. Yeah ... ya know ... when you are known for "making stuff" as much as I am, it's harder to give aby barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Yeah ... that works. I suspect a house in the middle of the woods isn't the place to get real picky about having leaves in the yard. hahah. Wow ... every season has it's attempt to work you to death. Garyby barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Interesting project. Sounds like Myth Busters! ;?) Remind me to dig up the pics of my buffalo being cut up at the meat locker. I took some pics inside the carcass of the hole punched rib and all. Shame about the cinder block. Hey - YOU're the one who wanted it to get dark earlier! hahhahha Garyby barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Thank you Karl, for your post. It's great to see the gun shooting, and being enjoyed, then shared. Today has been special for seeing two of my guns posted. Thank you Jerry, and Lon as well. I haven't read a post over there for quite a few years. Looked at this one. I appreciate your posted pics. Gosh, Lon's pic made me tired again. haha. All those Barnes guns.
