Thank you Gentlemen .... I'd like to thank the academy .... and all the little people under foot ... Ah ... Joe ... Julio won the ranch in Colorado. However; being from the tropics ... and hating cold weather ... he declined that part of the award. It went back into the hat for next year ....by barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
In PMs and mail, that the forum seems a bit slow lately. When I read that, I always wonder ... "Gee - what can I post that would be interesting?" And then, I think ... "I still haven't carried everything back into the shop from the Cajun Cup". I towed the War Wagon about 2,500 miles. Had five guns with me which we shot for several days. Delivered several guns. Took about 400 pics. Madeby barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hi Kent, haha. That's why I thought the recordings were so funny. I didn't lay classical music "over" the clip. I'd turned on the radio in the war wagon, and classical music was the first thing I found. Clear as a bell. And then Kelly arrived .... and I did the first gag segment. The music, down to the pauses, just fit the narrative. I thought it was funny. Glad you did to. Yes -by barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

Hi Lon, No ... Kent has developed his property with the used heavy equipment he maintains. He's dug several ponds and landscaped. I think he also leases the equipment out locally. I actually ran the track hoe one afternoon at the site of a local pond dig. I moved some of the scoped out piles while Kent landscaped with the dozer. It's therapy for him. I enjoyed it. I didn't upset it orby barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Nah silly. You can't pull the trailer with the truck INSIDE the trailer. hahah. ;?)by barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Yeah, Kent has gone all out to make really interesting ranges. You just don't get a chance to shoot such places, and try so many totally different guns, unless you organize something like this. It's a huge effort. Kent did a great job. Gary Nobody ever picked up on my restored Chevy pick-up first prize. Guess everyone believed it. Hi Lon, Yeah - me too. I had another go at it. I feel like I had a pretty personal exam. It would have a different name attached to my e-mail. I'd try to sign up again ... ooops ... can't do that ... there's another name attached to that e-mail address. Finally, it told me I couldn't use my own name to sign in ... wasn't available. You know what ... I went round and around with U-Tube for a half an hour. Screw it. I'd sign up ... they'd claim one thing was wrong. I'd change that ... something else was wrong. As I go thru my pics ... I grab a few here and there. Good memories already. The War Wagon gave me a cozy base station - and coffee was ready for all. The Timber Wolf arrived in it's special custom case ... made the night before we left. Blue dense foam and duct tape. Will most likely last for decades ... haha. Yes - we had a really wonderful time. As usual, Kent went all out to share with us. We were treated to some of the most wonderful meals known to man. Kent also whipped up 60 pounds of steamed shrimp, and added the ear corn, sausage, onions, mushrooms and seasoning to make an authentic Cajun "Shrimp Boil". We stood at a large high table and ate shrimp and delights into the night. A campfire wby barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hello Rotor, I've made external hammers several times. Early 27 cal, early 45 dueling pistol, Chameleon, Hoss, First Barnes 45 etched rifle, Patriot 56, .563 Express, 56 Expedition ... all come to mind right away. I've also made the rotary breech a couple of times. Oh ... how soon they forget ... ... hahah. This one is a different design though. The hammer is not a rebounding design.by barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Funny ... must mention ... above Jerry examines the condition of the "Archival Pack" of slugs which Karl has brought with him to the shoot. In mint condition .... bright as new ... still vacuum sealed. What am I bid for these .... ??? hahaha. Then, you see some of the new Barnes Tee colors.
