I think it's mostly camera off to the side that made the slug track seem so high. Of course, it was a 469 grain airgun slug ... so ... there's was trajectory. Garyby barnespneumatic - Video Library
SS Rendezvous is loading as we speak! (If Jim would find some more smilies ... I'd have chosen one of a boat here) hehe Garyby barnespneumatic - The Hunting Camp
OK ... now I'm totally depressed. Looks like you've died and gone to Heaven Neil. Garyby barnespneumatic - The Hunting Camp
Interesting, I'd have expected more hydroshock with the water jug. The swarm of shot didn't displace the water - just penetrated. Garyby barnespneumatic - Video Library
Jerry, Lon, You are not helping. I like to forget about the drum magazine. What it promoted was an enormous number of people asking me if I'd make drum feed semi-auto Tundra Magnums. Roose mentioned the "little details" and the "durability and reliability" factor. No matter what you charge for it, that fiddly stuff isn't worth the time and aggrivation. Sounds simple enough .... Keeping it under $20k might be a problem. But sounds fun. At least the ammo would be cheap! Garyby barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Great Post Jim, I'll dig out some of my poor little Sony pics here in a minute. Hey - I told you it would be warmer reading about the shoot that experiencing it yesterday. Gosh ... I'm not cold at all! hehe. Those shotgun videos are the bomb. Love that angry swarm of shot coming in. I was amazed at how it just sent that steel target for a loop too! Nothing whimpy about it. Keith, Jerry found them. He got tired of hearing me whine about not being able to find them, that he just ordered a set for me. I'll have to dig up the invoice .... wait .... might have been "Optics World". Garyby barnespneumatic - Gary's Galleries
Hey Tom, Yeah ... you'd think if there was a new Nikon out that Jim wanted, he'd toss that old worn out model to a deserving airgunsmith .... hehe. Garyby barnespneumatic - Gary's Galleries
Hey Roose, Funny, I've been thinking along the same lines. Actually, I wasn't going with BBs (because of the steel bounce factor indoors) but was going with small lead ball. It's been in my mind for years. I've even set aside a few parts over the years. Never finished one though. I think there's a need for something that can be shot indoors quietly (clearly with proper precaution, proby barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

Hi Dan, Happy New Year All. Still in the shop. Time to bag it for the year I guess. Stayed in and worked. No party. See ya on the other side. Garyby barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hi Tom, That's Jim's fancy Nikon. You could buy a basket full of my little pocket Sony's for it. That, and the excellent light yesterday - especially near sundown. When you can get that golden light, under the cloud cover, it's always special. Mostly ... camera quality though. Dory, Yeah, I agree. I can't understand why Jerry or Jim (or both) don't buy a nice ranch, where we coulby barnespneumatic - Gary's Galleries

Hi Dory, The breech doesn't offer any resistance. It just slides on O rings. I just use the thumb and index finger to operate it. It works because the pressure is 90 degrees to the axis of movement, and the O rings "grab tight" during the duration of the firing cycle. Very simple and clean. I don't claim it's design. I just modified it for my use. Yes - the rifle is far lighter than Jby barnespneumatic - Gary's Galleries
Hi Jim, Excellent post. Thanks. That was a nice addition to the Holiday break. That Delta of yours was a great snag. I know you found it on the internet classified from an Estate sale. Very glad to see it have another fine home. Garyby barnespneumatic - Gary's Galleries
I just located the Bishop mold here. Intended as a shop mold, it's on the other end of my 58 hunting slug! Bummer. I can't keep up with molds. Just curious ... Keith, have you shot the K-4, K-6, K-8 slugs? I think the K-5 was sent just as a "see if this works" slug. We'll get some Bishops out of my mold here, or I'll loan it to Jerry (99 year lease ... . I always think it's fun at a public range (might be the only fun) that soooooo many spotting scopes end up being turned onto my target! Get up unexpectedly, and take a quick glance down the line .... heheh. Gary Also fun, at the range, when the guy next to you has a box or two of old ammo they are "blowing off to get rid of it". Hi Keith, That's probably because the poor people don't have big bore PCP rifles. Poor folk. Yeah ... sound like you might have had a little too much "help" that trip. All morning, I've been listening to what sounds like a swarm of misquitos with twin turbos each. Some teen in the neighborhood must have gotten an RC truck that runs some sort of fuel. The thing has been screaming up and down the street in front of the house. Chasing cars, running ahead of cars, wheelieing up and down the street. Screaming fast and turns on a dime. Gosh Lon, I feel so .... bad. OK ... I'm over it. Yeah ... I know ... "real ranges" are a real pain. It's what we peasants (without land) have to do. I just FINALLY stumbled onto a place where I could shoot (ok ... actually two places). That was after ten years of dragging everything to a public range. I think we should all move to Wyoming. Richochet!!!! If they have the range set up so richochet can get back to the shooting line ... what about PUNCTURE of the human carbon units on the line!! I thought they'd about made richochet impossible in the other rules and physical set-up. That's a bummer. I wonder .... brief story. I once had an old classic car.
