Hello Alex, Great to have you here on this forum. Your quest to build your own PCP will be enjoyable. There are pros & cons to both pcp and springers. I find that pcp is a great way to go if you can invest in all the add ons such as scuba tank and/or compressor. I owned springers but never a high end rifle. They tend to recoil as mentioned but practice will help. Springers are great as they canby pedrog - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hello Lon, I haven't measured or checked any sizes. Initial appearance is good. They are the same size as the AirForce Condor barrels. 16mm OD. During the holidays I do hope to push pellets thru and do internal measuring. I saw a post online related to airgun barrels and they looked just like the ones I received from Taiwan. Had same marking on end. I assume some well known airgun makers are iby pedrog - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hi Gary, I won't ask any advice on moving lol. Looking at housing prices, yikes! At least my house has increased 20% in value, will help offset a new mortgage. Wife and I are interested in one home near the city, newer house, double garage and large yard. Room for a future work shop So far the job seems it will be long term. It is different from what I have done in the past, in the sense aby pedrog - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Recently I was approached by a manufacturer in Taiwan. They make barrels for manufactures in many different countries, about 24,000 per year. I told them I would consider them if I could try them first, so they sent a .22 & .25 Cal barrel. I will lathe the ends and get them ready for my Condor over the Christmas season to verify the accuracy and quality. Started a new job this past week. Iby pedrog - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

Looking good Gary! Sorry to hear about the migraines. Do you think it is the fall change? I always get more headaches during spring and fall for some reason. Luckily my migraines have almost become a thing of the past. Suffering from auras now, but no real headaches. Wish you continued blessings as you wrap up things in the North. God bless! Gary, Glad you are feeling good. Wish you all the best with the injections and pray that they will relieve you of pain. I had a spinal performed at both my hernia operations. Amazing how a spinal inhibits the nerves. I could see my toes but no matter how hard I tried, I could not wiggle them. Took 5-6 hours to wear off and slowly my toes, feet and legs move again, thankfully. All the best!by pedrog - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hello Gary, Like many here, I am waiting to see more of the airgun builds.I believe most visitors understand your need to wrap up the house up north. When completed you can settle at your home down south and resume your work. You have been transparent with your life's details. I am sure your clients appreciate knowing where things are at with their orders. Life has many twist and turns, weby pedrog - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, I think it will only get worse! Contant updates on iphone, software on computer. I realize that bugs need to be fixed, but sometimes get so many from one program it makes you wonder! Seems lately that unless you are running newer Windows 7 and up, the XP is sure slowing down. Might only be my computer, but weird how it affects both my laptop and desktop. At work the desktop runs fastby pedrog - I'm just sayin'
Hi Gary, Thought I would check in and I see your shop is coming to life! Thanks for sharing the progress. I think it helps many see just how involved it is in regards to owning tools, machines, etc. The time it takes to organize to be able to produce a product has been covered as well. We are all looking forward to seeing you build airguns once again and it will happen soon. Hope you haby pedrog - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

Welcome home Gary! Glad to hear things are going well. Hope your focus can change now and get back to what you love ---- airguns? Thanks for sharing the efforts and things you needed to do. I am sure it helped the customers on your ledger better understand the reasons why BPS is delayed. All the best, looking to the future of BPS. Gary, Our bodies tell us when to rest. Sometimes it is at the worst times but a break is necessary. Been dealing with a lot of stress last two weeks and my weekends are spent doing very little at times. I will explain more in the near future. Enjoyed the Retro post. Love the rifle design! Enjoy the memorial long weekend all you that are states side. God bless! Pedroby pedrog - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Thanks, I didn't model the rifle after any commercial but took ideas from many that I have seen online in the last few years. Pedroby pedrog - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

Gary, The lever does travel over center but I am thinking of making a catch for safety. Maybe a thumb lock released with thumb pressure. To add barrel support I can increase the breech length accordingly. I did some modifications to the test rifle and hope to complete this coming week. After I get a chance to test some pellets I will work on the final design of the air rifle. Looking forwaby pedrog - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hi Danny, Thanks for the comment. I guess many of us do not realize that rimfire barrels would work? I will check the twist on the barrel in a few days or week. It is a Lothar Walther airgun barrel but I cannot remember the twist rate. Checked their website but it doesn't list the twist rate. Thanks again, Pedroby pedrog - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Wow Gary, You sure keep busy! Hope things work out well as you continue. I am sure you would rather be building airguns. Pedroby pedrog - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hi Gary, Thanks, when you mentioned the longer pellet, I remembered that the twist has to be faster. I will be using driving bands and experiment with lengths. If nothing else use heavy commercial pellets Below are some snap shots of the CAD for the lever, hope it makes more sense. I haven't completed the design as I want to change a few things to make the barrel rigid as possible to the bby pedrog - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hello, I am looking at my next project. I had wanted to go bigbore but lacking the funds to do so. Since I still have a new blank 22 Cal German made airgun barrel I will go that route for now. I am wondering about the feasibility of making a rifle that can launch a heavy .22 pellet, like 45 to 50 grains, which would be around 7/16 to 1/2" plus in length? Like Rotorhead said, Who knew? Amazing work! I recalled you posted somewhere you used to make knives. Had no idea that the knives were so detailed, etc. It is really to bad that your knife designs were copied. The "Nautilus" design reminds me of a sword fish. Hi Gary, Sorry I hear you are having migraines. I had them for four years when I lived in another province. Sometimes twice a week or lasting 72 hours. Even went to emergency at times. I went to a seminar hosted be a Headache Clinic in Michigan. Learned some triggers, such as pills, foods, bright lights, smoke etc. For each person the triggers is different. Gary, Great to hear you made it home! T shirts? We got dumped on 22" of snow in 2 days! Melting now though but had to clear drive way 3 times! Still sore, shoveled a lot from the roof as well. Hope you can return to airguns soon! Pedroby pedrog - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, I am sure your customer will love the rifle! I do not think any of us know how hard it is on you creating these rifles. You are lucky to have a wife that understands what you do! Hi Gary, I reread the pages again. I did catch it, but I guess fell into the "handmade" trap that is common. You would think that they could afford to build their own parts with what they charge. But I think most of it is "gravy" for the company as the Sheikh's are paying. Hello All, I came across this a few days ago. What is kind of annoying is that these Sheikhs and princes spend millions, if not billions, while 70+ percent of their population struggles to make a living. Dubia is building such exotic buildings, hotels, yet none of us could ever afford it, let alone their own people. $820,000 would help a lot of people in a country where the average monthlyby pedrog - I'm just sayin'
