Gary, Uh..........happy new Year, I think. I'll see your leg, and raise you my aching back. Bummer is, it is the side on the good leg that doesn't have an arthritic knee. This is cool, you should have a shoot where we all sit on the porch of the shop and complain about our maladies. How do you know that you logged into the suspect router/modem when you moved it to the house and not the hoby Bigbore - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

I worked, 3 12's so that everybody else could enjoy. I did listen to classic Christmas music all weekend at work though, it was just like being there. I'll get'em next year............I hope. At the very least it would mean I haven't been "offshored" yet. Lonby Bigbore - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Pedro, I'm sure it is nothing like the quality of your comparators at work but mine will suffice for what I'm doing and I really enjoyed the project. Merry Christmas to all. Lonby Bigbore - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
I'm covering at work, everybody else's turn to take Christmas off. Hopefully I'll get them next year! Lonby Bigbore - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

OK class, for extra credit. What is the sear angle of an OEM Colt AR15? This is what you get when you dial it in! Also, the sharp viewer will notice that you can use the arcs to the left to check the measurement I gave above for the width of the sear. Lonby Bigbore - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
I looked up the cost of lapis......nice knife! Lonby Bigbore - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
I also noticed that the dog did not look like she wanted anybody going near her squirrel. Hey Kent, if you were to put that gun in the Queen's china cabinet I would probably walk right by it without seeing it, as camo goes that is. Merry Christmas, Lon P.S. I much prefer the very short haired dog breeds. Good looking beast.by Bigbore - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Kurt, My parts usually take a few tries for a variety of reasons, the number one on the list being that I haven't fine tuned the printer. I have tweaked it here and there but people that are REALLY into 3D printing fiddle with settings, extrusion head temperatures, filament brands, etc. I have mine dialed in to where I get pretty good results but depending on the application may require a litby Bigbore - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, Thanks and a merry Christmas to you and Kelly. I was tickled with the way it turned out. The angle above looks to be accurate to at least ~+/- 15 MOA. Thought I would post some content and give you some time in the shop to get those gifts out. Lonby Bigbore - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
10/22 sear dog leg angle dialed in. Still tuning the lighting among other things. Lonby Bigbore - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

Most people get a 3D printer and don't know what to do with it so they print garden knomes, plastic rockets and yellow octopuses. I've been wanting an optical comparator, but I don't want to pay for it. Bought the two items on the left, a loupe comparator with a NICE reticle set and a cheap USB microscope with stand. A 7.5" piece of Schedule 40 and 1/2 hour on 3D CAD to whip up a reticle holdby Bigbore - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
