Thats awesome GB. Never seen it done b4. Thanks for posting that or THOSE videos. Like the GOATEE and FRO'.............lolby Tofazfou - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Good video Gary. I'm also still figuring mine out too. Got tons of video with it so far and only some of it is worth sharing. The rest is garbage. Everything looks great in the field but when i get home to view them, the camera is usually too far from the target and very grainy or when the picture is great, non of the shots were captured on video. It's mostly my error though and not the camby Tofazfou - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
...sooooo how does one fill to 5700 psi. Just wondering. Never heard that before. Please educate me (no sarcasm...i really don't know) See, that's when the sports starts to become NOT FUN anymore. It simply sucks right now to fill my gun to 3500-3600 psi every time i shoot it. And that's only good for about 2-3 shots. So to fill to even higher fill pressures i would have to buy a gas compby Tofazfou - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
HUMMMMMM? i'm now lost too. HE HE HE....to much comparing LIKE analogies and numbers and math and science...lol. I just simply know this, if you shoot a bullet of any caliber at lets say 1000 fps and you have a 1-16" twist and you have a 32" barrel, it spins at 2 full turns inside the barrel. And as the bullet goes down range, it not only slows down in FPS but in revolution speed too. Justby Tofazfou - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Great topic GB. I too have had to explain to a few shooters that the little 17 HMR or .308 winchester bullets were not spinning at an incredible 200,000+ RPM as a few websites suggest. I explained the rate of twist just as you did and they just looked at me even more confused and just thought LITTLE OLE ME could not know more than the bullet manufacturers themselves. I told them to go onby Tofazfou - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Thats just awesome. Too much fun for mere mortals...lol. Great pics and story. Aren't airguns just "DA BOMB". So are good friends...nice.by Tofazfou - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
man thats looking good. No, NOT YOU GB. LOLby Tofazfou - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
OK, thats pretty awesome for sure. Spitzer bullet must retain a lot of velocity downrange. ALSO, GB, do you use some type of MICRO GROOVE rifling in your barrels? All those rifling marks on the slug reminds me of a projectile shot out of a MARLIN rifle. NICE.by Tofazfou - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Mr. GB, I used the LOWLY Dragon Slayer 454 shooting Sure Fire 220 gr Raptors at .454". The distance was roughly 35 yards and the hog was walking towards me but i had a clear shot just behind her right eye and i was elevated upwards above the hog in a stand. The RAPTOR struck between the eye and ear and travelled down to the left shoulder and was recovered. Man, SUREFIRE sure does make nicby Tofazfou - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
THats pretty cool. That sure is one awesome looking PISTOLA. I too have used electical junction boxes as targets/bullet traps and i tell ya, they are SUPER TOUGH. They even stop my Glock 10mm bullets at 40 yrds with nothing in them.by Tofazfou - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Cajun, lol, lol, lol, dude, that makes sense, lol, i'll remember that.by Tofazfou - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Griffin, your welcomed bro. Its funny cause i usually hunt with either 1 of my buddies or 2 of them. 1 of my friends has a Rapid only and the other owns a Beaumont .25 and Jack Haley 32 and both of those are cannons. But i tell you, when you are out in the desert maybe 500 yards or so apart, you here such a faint POP that even though i know its my buddy nailing a Jack Rabbit, the average peby Tofazfou - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Can't say that better than GB. I've been reloading for 20 years now so i have some equipment (press) that helps me size my dies. But for me to get started in casting it was no were near 1000 bucks. Not even half of that. LEE 20 lb casting furnace= 51.99, LEE lube and sizer die kit in .457= 15.49, RCBS mold handles that fit 2 different mold brands (RCBS and LYMAN molds)= 35.00 RCBS 4by Tofazfou - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
aaaaaaaahhhhhh GB, man can i ever relate to that story. Man, when my buddy and i go Ground Squirrel shooting in the NATIONAL FOREST on BLM land, we actually have people walk up to us and ask us what we are shooting/hunting while we got squirrels in our sights. Then the squirrels get spooked by them moving and dissappear. It just P----S us off. We always ask them do they normally walk up to guby Tofazfou - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
pheew, i know that pic is for SCIENCE sake but man, it would have been hard for me to take that pic. Especially since my camera would have been mounted on my GUN....by Tofazfou - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
no need to make a new thread, so i will add to GB's. Results of me messing around with my new Casio camera. And yes, for 300 bucks, this camera is pretty good. The HD Video is very nice looking. And the Slow Motion video feature is a BIG BONUS. This one was with flash. It was very overcast yesterday so pics have no light to help the be clear Same photo sorta but with no fby Tofazfou - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
LOL, niiiiiice. I appreciate that. This casio shoots good HD video. It pretty clear and i love it. The slow mo is cool but the HD is awesome looking. really clear.by Tofazfou - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Uhhhhhh no you can't Jerry. In order to keep this VISCOUS cycle going, since you were the first, you now have to go and buy a REALLY EXPENSIVE, HIGH QUALITY slow motion camera, then we all sit back and drool at your NEW videos, then we try to afford the new latest and greatest camera to become like you. Then it just goes on and on and on, over and over....lolby Tofazfou - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
lol....playing with my Casio right now as we speak. Doing some test photos, videos, and settings. Gotta get it right. And yeah, when i went outside right now to shoot some video, the picture brightened up nicely. It was just the fact that inside it simply to dark or its the florescent light bulbs.by Tofazfou - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
This is the second camera view to the 2 bottles that i recently did a video on. THIS camera and bottles are approximately 201 yards away from me and the guns muzzle. These bullets should be around 780+ fps at the muzzle. Please exuse the sound quality of the camera but it is only a small point and shoot camera. And yes, it was pretty windy out when i did this shoot. You can hear the wind iby Tofazfou - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

You question is a good one bro. I know the other guys answered your question but i too have often thought (i honestly knew the answer) about how fast a big bore bullet is at 100+ yrds. And let me tell you, THERE FAST. Too FAST for anything to move. Now, before i say what i'm gonna say, i don't want folks to get mad at me and think that i am irresponsible and or crazy (well i am crazy) but,by Tofazfou - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Geez man, i got my camera last night and i'm glad i did cause now you guys have done all the research for me....lol Seriously though, thats some great info from you guys. You guys sound like scientist and i feel like a retard.....lol we got words like ISO, and DPI, and RAW and JPEG and DSLR and MEGAPIXEL........awe man, I'm gonna copy off you guys test sheet...lol JIM: Question forby Tofazfou - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, i think my camera is gonna be here Friday and wouldn't you know it, Rain is forecasted for friday, saturday, and sunday. Of course it is, my camera will be here then. I am really shocked though that this camera takes AA batteries. I figured they would have made a special battery for it. Now i gotta go get some good AA rechargeable batteries.by Tofazfou - The Target Trophy Lodge
Danny, I usually shoot 2 shots off a fresh fill then top it back off to as close to exactly 3500 psi as i can get it. Did not really spend too much time doing long range grouping which i will do another time. Still have to figure out what works best at 100 yards. I would be happy with 1" groups at that range.by Tofazfou - The Target Trophy Lodge
Thank you gentlemen. Boy are big bores fun. Its gets better and better everytime i go out with the gun.by Tofazfou - Video Library

Went on a Coyote hunt this past Sunday and i had no luck. So, i decided to pack up my gear and try some more long range shooting. This time though, i wanted to push it. I had previously tried 75 yrds, then 100 yrds, then 150 yards. Now i wanted to go for the MAJIC........200 yards!!! OK, OK, OK, OK....so 200 yards aint MAJIC.....well, it is too me.....LOL! Drove around for a minute to a wby Tofazfou - Video Library
