fun non the less trying to get one using an airgun. Some of my powderbuners could put 3-5 shots inside just one of these bullet holes (especially my 17 hmr and Tikka T3 in 6.5x55mm swedish)...lol. But any of these shots if CENTERED would have hit a hog in the heart or head at 100 yards easily. Funny thing about shooting this gun is.......I'M STILL GETTING USED TO THE RECOIL......HOLY COW!!!by Tofazfou - The Target Trophy Lodge
Yeah, some folks would get offended easily. What cracks me up is the folks that HEAR about airguns from other people and then they get on the forum and say, "SUCH AND SUCH MAKES THE BEST AIRGUN BAR NONE". And i'm like, "DO YOU HAVE ONE". No, they just HEAR that the guns are good. Thats exactly why i like what GB does, he has a whole website dedicated to showing his work. And to me, thaby Tofazfou - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
WOW....now that is some energy shedding. That RB almost comes to a stop at that distance....lol compared to a conical. Learned my lesson for the day. Thanx peter, thats good info.by Tofazfou - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
I really enjoy this thread. I envy you guys with one or more of GB's guns. Just from looking at ALL his photos of his workshop and guns and his videos, I personally think GB makes the best built, most accurate big bores out there. His craftsmanship is second to none. Seriously, his style is unique..YES....but his airgun making skills are extraordinary. Everybody else just makes a PLAIN bby Tofazfou - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, I too use Windows Movie Maker for the easy quick editing projects. Its a cool lil program Then i use Pinnacle Studio 11 for making the cool stuff as well as DVD's. Yeah, i been in the market for a HD camera and had my eye on this puppy every since that JERRY guy mentioned that he had one..lol. Now i'm all anxious and excited about getting it. Can't wait. Watch what happens thby Tofazfou - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
GOD!......I'm such a pushover. OK GB, and Jerry, i just bought the DANG camera. Plus the video card. Plus the carrying bag. Plus shipping....lol Already have a couple neat ideas for the slow mo videos.by Tofazfou - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

Awwweeee shucks Gary, now i gotta go buy that camera too.....ARRRRGGGGH!! You did it....lol Well, i've ordered a few things or 2 from amazon and it was pretty simple. Yes, you can get some merchandise from other suppliers off the AMAZON page but, all i can say is this, IT LEGIT. The internet can be a scary place if you are not used to shopping off of it. Amazon is COOL.by Tofazfou - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
I'm good Peter. How are you doin? The other point that i did not mention is....if the Deer or Hog was gonna be mounted. If so, then you don't wanna destroy the head. I really should do some energy comparisons on RB out to lets say 100 yrds. I would love to know exactly how much energy they do shred. Hmmmmmm, gives me an idea.by Tofazfou - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
well, my 2 cents is this. 100 FPE would have been enough if the shot hit the brains. To puncture the lungs will result in death for sure. But, that animal might run pretty far before it expires (a mile or 2). Being 30 yrds away with a lung shot using RB's probably would have produced the same results. The roundball has the energy......it just doesn't DESTROY tissue like some of the other bulby Tofazfou - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
That guns sure is PURDY. And powerful to boot. Hats off to GB. I saw that YOUTUBE video on it and that gun is super loud....i love it. But...uhhhhhh....yeahhhh....GARY, YOU GOTTA STAY OUT OF THEM GLAMOUR PICS MAN. Guns only PLEASE!!!....LOLby Tofazfou - Gary's Galleries
Well, thanx Gary but, just trying to be responsible when and if i make a mistake. I will no longer post on that forum as the guy is still being a jerk even though i apologized. Kinda boriing there anyways. And OOOOOOOOOH YEAH GARY, if i had one of your guns, i would definitely make all kinds of crazy but responsible videos. With a gun as accurate, powerful and unique as yours..........THby Tofazfou - Video Library
Hi guys, I will make this one short. It was brought to my attention (I already knew this) that there seemed to be some type of building or barrack or whatever in the background in my video. You can sorta see something black as i zoom in to the right. Well, its a burned down, farmhouse or something like that that is condemed and burned halfway to the ground. From were i am shooting in tby Tofazfou - Video Library
Well, these cameras do pretty well. I was actually thinking about buying the exact same camera JERRY has. For the money, his has a lot of good features. It shoot HD video at about 40 FPS and the camera i have does 30 FPS. The Casio jerry has also can capture bullets in motion up to a certain speed of projectile of course. But his camera does do HD video and it has 20x zoom. I believe itby Tofazfou - Video Library
thanx guys. Any time Gary. I do love this sport as well as video recording everything. I love video taping me and my buddies shooting cause it just really helps with research. Its also great documentation of what we do and what can be done with modern day airguns. Plus, its just plain ole fashioned fun to see stuff blow up.by Tofazfou - Video Library
Thanx guys. Gary, the video camera i am using is a.........oh shucks...let me go take a look......................CANON FS100 with FLASH DRIVE. I really like the concept of these type cameras cause you have hardly any internal moving parts. All video gets written to a SDHC card and the batteries last forever in these thing. Basically, my SDHC card is 8 GB and it can record about 1 hr and 51by Tofazfou - Video Library
Yeah, the weather here has been pretty lame too. At least for CALIFORNIA. But it has been too cold to shoot or venture out. And it has been raining also like we are in SEATTLE or something. But, on this day, it must have been 70 degrees and NO WIND.by Tofazfou - Video Library
i know jerry. I'm sorry. But it was for the sake of "AIRGUNNING SCIENCE". He had to be sacrificed as his picture is the only one on any bottle that can be filled with water...LOL.....I think.by Tofazfou - Video Library
And at 50 yrds to boot. Remodded my custom HP mold pin to make HP a little heavier and to move the weight more forward in the bullet. After trimming the pin down, the bullets went up to 310 gr exactly. Up from 287 grains. The accuracy is much better than the previous lighter version. So in this video, this is my first time testing out the new weight with the HP's. In the video, i try anby Tofazfou - Video Library
I will keep this one short as there is nothing to tell really. OK, except that, my new HP mold is coming along nicely. I had it modified and it was making HP bullets at 287 grs. I found the cavity to be too deep (my fault) and the HP's were catching major air while in flight and all the weight of the bullet was in the back. I then trimmed the HP pin down, that goes into the mold to make theby Tofazfou - Video Library

Thats excellent danny. Wish i had some machinery to make my own project gun. Thats something i would love to give a go at. Great story with lots of detail.by Tofazfou - The Hunting Camp
Excellent. Loved the story and Congrats on the hunt. I too wanna know more about your .30. Velocity, Name Brand of gun, velocity....etc....etc..etc.by Tofazfou - The Hunting Camp
I DID, I DID. I went shooting Saturday. Got a decent group with the JH457 and some EXPLOSION VIDEOS. By Explosions of course i mean with the JH blasting water bottles with the new HP that i casted. Stay tunedby Tofazfou - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Lol....Jerry....i think you know just who i'm talking about....lol. I slap myself on the hand now cause i should have just asked you how would i make my HP's wider and cleaner as you have the same mold and been in the business of casting for a while now. But since he cast some nice looking HP's i figured he was the man to ask. Funny how when money is involved, information doesnt come so eaby Tofazfou - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Thanx guys. The mold work was done by a gent named Erik Ohlen at Its too funny cause after seeing another guys HP bullets that he casted, i was curious as to how he got his HP openings so big and clean. He was not really clear with the info as to how he did it (don't worry guy, i'm not gonna sell my bullets..lol) and i knew why. He saw me as competition. But i'm not in the market to sby Tofazfou - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Well, these surely don't compare to Jerry and his Sure Fire casting slugs but hey,........i try..LOL! Been trying my hand at casting my own bullets as of late. Had a little fun this morning casting these big bore slugs for my big bore airguns using my newly moddified LYMAN HP mold. I randomly weighed 10 of the 60 slugs and got an average weight of 285 grains. The batch that i casted b4 thby Tofazfou - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
