Complex stock shape. Stock mount bolt has to go through all these curves accurately. Must transfer that interior indicator mark, up, out, over, down, around, up, and back through.

Best you can you transfer “Square, Vertical, Depth, Center to Center”. You Pilot drill and Probe .... unless you want to just body putty over a few bad holes .... haha.

And then .... the FINAL PROBE .....

See that Bright White Spot in the Dead Center of the bottom interior pilot hole? That’s a 10X. PERFECT.

There ya go Kurt! You could save me soooo much time!!! With your advanced knowledge of machining techniques. Hehe. How about winding a drill bit around a hole to make it bigger? And, when I was about 12/14 and building go carts ... I used to “drill holes” with the Arc Welder. Turn that sucker up and ZAPPP!!! You want a 5/16, there ya are. 3/8 ... you got it. Haha
