Bummer man . . . it's a drag to hurt. I had a rather nasty toothache a few weeks ago which was no fun at all. Hope you get a jump on some weekend R & R. On the bright side . . . just ordered six boxes of .454 Hornady roundball. Bought out the online store's entire stock actually. We'll put it to good use! -- Jimby admin - I'm just sayin'
Depends . . . what do we know about Aunt Martha? -- Jimby admin - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Many of the pages off of the main Catalog page have the last price at which a given gun was offered for sale when the ledger was still open. I'll have to defer to Gary on future pricing. -- Jimby admin - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Nah, the software is just sensitive to which "Reply" link you click. You response will always appear under the post containing the "Reply" link you clicked on. -- Jimby admin - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Good stuff. I didn't know ballistic bears bled. Looks like that Carnivore wound channel is a few inches deep @ 50 yards? -- Jimby admin - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
A little perspective, too . . . for all intents and purposes, the site has been up and available to the public since early December of last year. That's a little over three months. I think a tremendous amount of information has been posted in that time. I'm confident that there are many more "guests" than registered users, as is almost always the case with Internet forums. Hey . . . you can say what you want here, because in fact it is hosted by the King of Cheap Scopes. Sorry . . . I couldn't resist . . . that softball was too slow . . . -- Jimby admin - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Central MD here is supposed to get anywhere from 4 to 10 inches depending on who you believe. We've got an inch already and a quarter cord of firewood at the ready, with both wood burners blazing in all their glory. I love the snow. The woods look absolutely beautiful when it covers everything. Guns look great Jerry. I need to get me some Never Dull for the bolt handle on the Delta. Tby admin - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Come on over Jerry. I can use all the help I can get! -- Jimby admin - The Hunting Camp
Great shooting and pics . . . boy it's pretty there. And you have ultra-cool shaggy cows too! -- Jimby admin - The Hunting Camp
Yep . . . there's older tree stands back there everywhere, along with modern ones on some of the private property that borders the parkland. Still no antlers though . . . -- Jimby admin - The Hunting Camp
Wow . . . that's great! The 1000+ fps buckshot string will even please the "you can't hit anything without a laser" crowd. I hope it gets lots of use. Gotta love those "anti-theft" plastic shell packages which can cause one to lose a few fingers! I never understood how they're anti-theft -- wouldn't the crooks just steal the whole thing? The range still looks pretty sloppy . . . isn'tby admin - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Heheh . . . no, I didn't see any evidence of the deer having beeen "probed." What's strange is that two of the three skeletons, along with some older, more weathered bones I found, we all within about 50 yards of each other. Hmmmmm . . . -- Jimby admin - The Hunting Camp
Wanted to follow up on this thread . . . no antlers yet, but today I found no less than three nearly complete deer skeletons (one very recently dead with lots of fur around and legs mostly intact) and more bones at two other places. I guess this must be the time of year when the older or sick deer die who can't make it to spring die off? I didn't see any evidence of poaching etc. (all were on pby admin - The Hunting Camp
I'll bet you're right Jerry. We set a new record for simultaneous guest visits last night. -- Jimby admin - The Gear Shack
Smokin'. What's the fill pressure on that bad boy? Now you guys see why Gary has an advantage over me and Jerry . . . he builds the guns AND gets to shoot more than us. -- Jimby admin - Gary's Galleries
And being that it costs more to "repair" your camera than to build a new one, they'll simply exchange it. -- Jimby admin - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
It's clickless so you don't scare the deer. Bring it over here, Gary, and we'll spin the elevation knob back and forth on my deck and see if they notice. -- Jimby admin - Gary's Galleries
Pig parts huh? Bill likes it. Actually, Jerry's talking about the stuff made out of ground-up / boiled up bones and hides etc. Rather nasty, actually. -- Jimby admin - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
My last late-night experience at a Denny's was not a good one. I found that at the one around here, on the northern edge of the Baltimore City, they've actually started positioning police INSIDE the restaurant for when (not just in case) trouble breaks out. I believe this was during th week on a Thursday night. Sad really . . . the inmates are running the asylum, and they wonder why the citiesby admin - I'm just sayin'
Very nice. How is the decibel level versus Jerry's Prairie III on low power? Hey . . . what kind of glass is on there, anyway? -- Jimby admin - Gary's Galleries
Titanium. I hear Gary just LOVES to work with titanium. -- Jimby admin - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Those bench slots are great for grabbin'. Especially for holding steady for shooting groups. Good work Gary. I have some pics of some very pretty figured cherry furniture we have. I'd post them but someone might have a heart attack when all of the ledger orders immediately shift to cherry stocks. -- Jimby admin - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Right before Christmas we had a bunch of mice in our attic. You'd hear them scurrying about as soon as it got dark. Instead of traps we used the poisoned bait. They went through two boxes full of the stuff before we stopped hearing things . . . I guess they went elsewhere to die too because no smell! Just don't use the sticky glue traps . . . those are very cruel. -- Jimby admin - I'm just sayin'
We've had a very nervous late morning / early afternoon as we had a huge tree dropped that was felled by a windstorm a few nights ago and was hung up in another one about 80' in the air, dangerously close to our house. All is good now, and both trees are down, but we definitely had a few scary moments. -- Jimby admin - I'm just sayin'
I missed the most important part, too -- how did you end up powering up the coffee maker? -- Jimby admin - Video Library
The clock is ticking . . . I saw a buck yesterday with bloody red stumps on his head where the antlers have just come off. He must have lost them in the last day or so. -- Jimby admin - The Hunting Camp
Looks great guys . . . sorry I missed it. -- Jimby admin - Video Library
Good man . . . with the bass, he can get money AND girls (who have cars). I think he's one step ahead of you Jerry. -- Jimby admin - Video Library
I've got one that's close (but different): -- Jimby admin - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
