Thank you Peter. It's been an enjoyable project. Good to hear from you. Garyby barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Well - there ya have it. I guess the demographics for Corvette owners showed they needed a place to put their Cafe'cho-cinimin-a-lato. haha. Garyby barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hi Sean, The sound inside, with a heavy gun, is much like setting down some dumb-bells not too gently. There's a metalic quality (the inbox), and a thud quality. But - it doesn't have any real sharp edges, and it isn't loud enough to need any ear cups. Outside, it's much, much more muffled. Still, I limit the use and try to be aware of the time and what's going on outside. The set up isby barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hi Sean, Yeah - that was the Lee slug ... 458 grains IIRC. Yeah - brewed tea is the way to go. Isn't it McDonalds and Wendy's that's gotten in on the craze too? We make some good brew. Might as well injest the calories as have my head in a vice from the toxic waste of artifical sweetner. Anyway ... I've always been impressed by the heavy mass slugs and their "chugging along" power. That's the second request for cupholders. I didn't realize they'd be so popular on airguns. But - hey ... the customer is ALWAYS right ... right? I'll put six on your gun Sean.by barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Thanks Joebill, Well, the balsa wood stock on your puny gun should help. haha. This is a rush to shoot. Although, you nearly have to watch the video to see what happened. The recoil and black out period following detonation sort of removes the moment of impact from your conscious mind. Once you get up off the floor, rearrange your toupee, and notice the target has vanished ... you canby barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

Hi Joe, Sure thing - just slide on in behind that and take a shot! Glad you like it. It's a beast for sure. I've finally squeezed out a few secrets from the movie making program, and can do some very basic stuff. It's not a "Tofazfou Production" now ... but I do my best, and I don't have his movie budget! Side note: When I was quite young, we had a carnaval grounds nearby. I forget the connection completely, buy I WAS tapped to police the area with a sharp stick. And, since I got to make a long stick with a nail in it ... and spike all sorts of paper cups and trash, I thought it was fun. Ah - the innocence of youth! Question: Why's a generator running? Answer: To run a squirrel cage fan in the War Wagon. It's quite hot in the open field in an aluminum box trailer. Works pretty well. Question: Why's the chrono read 898 fps instead of 920 fps? Answer: Different tanks ... different gauges ... different operating pressure ... perhaps different batch of slugs. I wasn't at the range for long today.by barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
This one has several stunts. They involve accurate placement of massive energy from an airgun slug. The cocking lever worked great at the bench. It was a nice 90 minutes at the range. Garyby barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Nah .... you get cup holders in a mini-van. This is more like a Viper. Garyby barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Just came back from a short range trip. The lever worked great. Got some good video too that I'll process later. Now - shower and food!! Garyby barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

Hi Jerry, Sorry - I missed this post until now. It's the overall balance of the pc. The recoil is evidently nearly straight back. That would have to do with the weight and some of the internals too. Seems a fine design in every way so far. Garyby barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hi Jerry, I have a multi-color scheme in mind. Yeah ... basic black. Looks nice. But it seems like such a waste for all the work. Your Prairie III would also look good in black. But ... it's pretty nice as it is too. I have a few ideas. ;?) Garyby barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

Hope you enjoy. Thanks, Garyby barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
You are finding a bunch of patient critters. All that camera work takes time. I'm suprised you can keep it all straight and still shoot accurately. haha. Good job. Thanks for posting! Garyby barnespneumatic - The Hunting Camp
Hello Neil, No - the stock is as rough as a cob. Literally in 60 grit format. I just knocked off the corners to take it to the range. That's why I mentioned before, that the gun was showing at about 20% of it's final "punch factor". Just knocking off the corners making the stock look like a cardboard cut out added a huge amount to the presence of the pc. It's gonna be a knock out when it'by barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hi Tom, That's one thing I always catch flak over. People have sort of snickered at me for that for 40 years. Mostly it's a "whoooh ... spies everywhere huh ..." sort of comment. However; with the internet, there's little point in me placing my innovations on the computer monitor of any Chinese engineer with a mousepad. They're the ones with the billion dollar factories and nearly free labby barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

Two stage trigger feels like a two stage trigger should. It shoots great off of the bi-pod as shown. And the line of shot vs. the bullet streak shows that it's very well balanced. Garyby barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
This is the unfinished 58 caliber Barracuda Bullpup from Barnes Pneumatic. The barrel and barrel hub are blued steel. The reservoir and hammer tube are stainless steel. All of the billet will be hard color anodized during the finish phase. It's now in "field testing" phase. It's clear now, that the gun will be able to make about 700 foot pounds of muzzle energy with heavier slugs. It'by barnespneumatic - Gary's Galleries
No takers? See this is the stuff that baffles me. I thought that was a truely remarkable picture. Shows, beyond debate, that the barrel fell BELOW the line of the slug leaving the barrel during firing. Gun barrels ALWAYS kick up when guns fire. That's where the entire "Muzzle Flip" thingie comes from. And nobody finds this interesting? Garyby barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Thanks Danny, I was all smiles. You bet.by barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Thanks Cedric, Yeah - you better cut off the back of your stock when you tune it too! haha. Where have ya been dude? We were about to come looking for you. Didn't you get your one phone call? haha. Garyby barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
