Very Pretty! That should go well with Kelli's sunny new home. Kentby Cajun Justice - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Here's the snake story from my recent visit to BPS. Gary and I were discussing the plague that is the venomous snake. I then asked Gary if he had heard of the "The Irwin Effect" of course he had not because I had coined it. I explained that the Effect was named for the Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin, God rest his soul. The gist is that rarely is it the perceived great dangers in life that leby Cajun Justice - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
I enjoyed helping you Gary. As always Kelli and Gary were a pleasure to be with, and we settled all the worlds problems while getting drenched in sweat. I hope it helped move things along for you. I know some of the things we do solo at the shop because we have to, are saver easier and 10 times quicker with an extra hand. Kentby Cajun Justice - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
That looks great! Your prior description make it sound like it was really going to look like a man CAVE. They cleaned it up nicely. When you sheath that it will be a laminated foam filled structure, super strong! If my current insulation tears up, I'm going back with foam. Kentby Cajun Justice - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
I prefer to do my tree felling with my track hoe. It's still exciting to drop a tree that weighs a thousand pounds just where you want it The trick is a good dig and then you pull it toward you until you hear and feel the tap root snap. At that point you push it away and guide its initial fall. My best challenge was to clear my side of the neighbors fence and dropping some trees adjacent to aby Cajun Justice - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Here's the big hint on the racks, lock a "vise grip" plier under the plastic "wedges" and strike the rack with a rubber mallet to seat. Do this with the rack sitting on the ground before screwing in the castors. When done right the wedge should be about a 1/16-1/8 inch above the rack sleeve. You do need to get the wedge mostly into the sleeve before the hammer strike. I'll be heading that wayby Cajun Justice - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Closed cell, Open cell, who cares. Just avoid the SLEEPER cell. I bet once you get the foam sprayed in nothing will move so your leaks should be nil. You will really appreciate the quiet compared to the bare metal, especially in the rain. Glad its moving forward. Kentby Cajun Justice - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Welcome to the Klub. Good to see equipment that will actually get used. The dirt move shows just one of the obvious uses for the bucket. No more of this. When you get the forks on there you'll be amazed what it will do. My fork stay on most of the time as they are used contantly. You may want to weld up a hitch for the bucket as well. Same design, only instead of a fork there will be aby Cajun Justice - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Always interesting how the building looks so much bigger than the slab. Get ready for the compression that comes from movng things in. Don't worry it will expand again when you get some lights hung. Hope it falls together on the new schedule. Kentby Cajun Justice - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
It's a great liberal equation. They are happy to give to others as long as it's no skin off their back. You'll see a lot of generosity in your new home, so grin and bear it. You also need the drive to prepare for the slower pace of the South. Kentby Cajun Justice - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Glad you've found the South as welcoming as Kelli and I have. Neat that you could expand the wilderness 50 percent so quickly. Just wondering, is the Corner Cafe the restauant you refer to? In any case, I found it very pleasant and family run. Kentby Cajun Justice - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Great video Ced! Only made greater by your great shooting. You've put together a nice rifle and are putting it to great use. Thanks for posting for all to see.by Cajun Justice - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
WHat happened Gary. I remember the days when you could just hop up on the table, bend over and get an epidural. No sedation, full breakfast. Ten minutes later out the door sans crutches. I know, to each his own. Hope you are doing better now. BTW, I've still got that crutch if you are looking for it. Kentby Cajun Justice - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Cool Dragon carving! I hope you found a pair of them. Aw heck, it would be even more interesting to see a knife with asymetric look. Glad you are excited about the return. Kentby Cajun Justice - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Here in Biloxi, the Margaritaville casino is hiring for entertainers to wear stilts and costumes in the bar to perform for guests while they eat etc. Can you imagine the workman's comp insurance for that! How do I know they are doing this, well one is seeing me after falling during "training". Guess he doesn't make the cut. Whimsical door knocker/letter opener from the looks of that rams head. I'll be making it over to see you on this trip down. Planning a kayak trip out to one of the barrier islands. Kentby Cajun Justice - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Nice piece. That should be displayed to show off the workmanship for all to see. It's hard for me to determine the scale. I'm guessing 20 inches? Kentby Cajun Justice - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
You'll be very pleased with your choice, Gary. I wouldn't recommend a 20 mi road trip. It would probably get you a spot in the local paper but I doubt it would be in the sports section. You'll also make the adjustment to the local environment more quickly if you can remain in the south for longer than a week at a time. You'll be saying "Y'ALL" before you know it. Lest we forget where we came from in the process. I think this is a shot toward the power hammer, pre-move. That's a lot of progress, Kentby Cajun Justice - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Thanks for reminding me how nice this piece is. I haven't got any hunting stories with this gun yet, but maybe this year. I have relented to putting a red dot sight on this gun. While it doesn't have the same clean lines as the peep, it is easier for my eyes to bring everything into focus. The peep restricted my view so as to make the target hard to acquire. The red dot is very short andby Cajun Justice - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Boy, those will be great! The elves will really get that place humming when it's decked out with machines. I think a special stamp for the pieces that made the trip is in order as well. Get some foam on those walls and I'll be over to help the move in. Congrats on one more hurdle behind you, Kentby Cajun Justice - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

Nice workmanship Brandon. I bet those are a lot of fun to shoot. What's your favorite reactive target? Thanks for sharing, Kentby Cajun Justice - The Picture Gallery
Not a cat, claws are not retracted. Unless, of course it is a cheeta whose claws don't retract. Must be a canid. How did you find that, was Jerry looking for FOD? Kentby Cajun Justice - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hope all went well. Glad you are off the road. Here's what you need for the back of your tractor. Here's how handy the forks are. Never left the tractor seat to extract from the brush. You can see the "bionic blade" on the rear. Over kill for your road work. Kentby Cajun Justice - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
That's strong work guys! WIth all those new and improved tools I bet it almost is easy NOW. I hope you threw the wench in the trailer for the unload. Hate to have to reengineer the derek. Sent you an email Gary. Kentby Cajun Justice - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Jerry, I left you a pair of gloves with one more trailer in them. They are fitted to Gary's picket fence to dry. You'll also need some dew rags and multiple shirts each day. And for the trailer bring lots of straps to hold things down for the ride. Trip report is boring, thank goodness, 1060 miles in 18 hours without incident or even a wrong turn. Got to love that GPS! That's fine dirt work Gary! If you're going to be dressing that road often you'll want to weld up a "Bionic Blade" for your three point hitch. It also works a a good counter balance for those heavy bucket loads. Your tractor looks like you got a steal. It does need those fork as shown by how high you have to get the bucket to carry a load. Be real careful if you are not on perfectly flat groby Cajun Justice - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
That's great Gary! Sure sounds like it's shaping up nicely. It is especially nice that your family has been able to visit and make it YOURS so quickly. Have fun with the exploration of the areas amenities and folks. Kentby Cajun Justice - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
