Hope you still have one for my wall! Please put my name on one, no really...put my name on it. Beautiful artwork Gary! Your metal carving has always been my favorite and this piece shows why. Your organic symmetry and depth of presentation really makes it "POP". It's neat how you have the carving over flowing its frame giving the impression of even more depth. Thanks for sharing, Kentby Cajun Justice - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Jerry, Loved the video! The first explosion looked so over the top as to be possible CGI. I hope the neighbors were understanding. Is this some of the stuff the guy tried to get on the plane? Kentby Cajun Justice - Video Library
No competition from me. Good luck with the bid and the aftermath. Hey, if Gary is too busy or heartbroken to see it, you might checkout that "American Restoration" or some such on discovery. Looks like they do good work. I wonder if you are chosen for the show if they help out on the restore cost. Heck you could act as an historian on this "first Barnes Bison" rebuild. Hey Lon, They waxed everything to keep the saltwater from attacking and to seal seal seams. On this one I used waxed dacron "artificial sinew" and coated it all with "Teak Oil" which contained Tung and Lidseed oil mix. My steam bending consisted of using a wet rag on the wood as I bent it around the form. I would run a hot hobby iron on the rag and this steamed the wood into position. Some questioned what had become of my milling equipment. Well, it's not metal either, but I did use my mill to carve my joints for this project. The plans were purchased from Kudzu Craft and glued to the marine plywood. This shows the scarfed, planed and sized stringers made from Western Red Cedar decking. This is the loose skeleton held together with bungee cord. Allows foby Cajun Justice - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
I'd bet anything that the roofing companies can't get and/or afford the insurance required to get on top of your house. We've had insurances issues here following Katrina as well. Hi Reggie, I was looking for a short scope for the Hoss pistol. What I decided on, and am very pleased with, is a Red Dot "scope". It is a very short item and has no requirement for eye relief or eye alignment with in a wide margin. This would allow hanging it on either the front or rear mount of the Vic. This has no magnification but may be the ticket for short range shooting with the Vby Cajun Justice - AR Classifieds
Hi Gary, Glad the injections went well. I know the total result may not be realized for a while yet. Don't be surprised if the low back injection actually gives you some relief with the neck as well. When you feel better, don't drop the oral meds too quickly or you won't feel well. Ya, it's the same here. One little hurricane and suddenly everyone within 70mi of the coast are uninsurable for wind. It has gotten only a little better as 6 years have past and now you can get wind insurance but only with a 5% value of the policy deductible. Yest, a 100K house has a 5K deductable. that would replace a roof on most 100k homes! Many are going bare for wind and are going to depeby Cajun Justice - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

Marketing has failed you Gary. You are supposed to feel better after accepting the newest wonder. Take New Coke for example. Some think that New Coke was the attempt by Coke inc to compete with Pepsi. Wrong, New Coke was a gimmick to clear the shelves of Coke. Now New Coke was a big flop. No one liked it, so in the interest of its loyal base, Coke inc returned to "Original Coke" and all was rby Cajun Justice - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Beautiful work on the welds and steel Gary! I new the frosting would come out to play. I hope to see one of these up close someday. Hope one of these gets out in public to show off the details like this. Kentby Cajun Justice - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Masterful job on the welds! It is just this type of detail that those who have never tried working with a particular technique can never really understand the skill required. For those without a "cracker box" as they are referred to here, try a little experiment the next time you have a birthday. Take two birthday candles and place them perpendicular. Now take a lit third candle and withby Cajun Justice - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
I'm listening to The Battle of the Crater and the author is quoting the 58 cal Civil War (War of Northern Aggression for us Rebs) are pushing out 900 fps. A patched .563 is a 58 for all intent. Elegant solution Gary! I really think that angle is the key to the traditional lines that so many like in this format. I know I miss the Grey Wolf during its stay in TX. Maybe some more pics from its currrent guardian would help? I think you should sell this as a Kit. Great post Jerry, glad to see you are still knocking them out at uber range. I would expect that you would know why the powder burners don't show the contrail? I know they see the distortion of the air, but no contrail, what to hot? disruption from sonic wave? Do you see it on the rail guns? I would guess the rail guns are shooting a "cold" bullet? Great video Gary. I like that contrail effect, very unusual. I wonder if the condensation was actually making a "snow" at that temp. Hence the prolonged effect that the camera witnessed? I do have a tale of a "contrail". Taking off from Memphis via jet, child behind us said "Mom look at that". OK you've got to look too! Noticed a streaming contrail from the center of the wing. If that's a Hybrid, you may be guilty of producing a FIRE arm! (See volt recall). Another aside, the 357 magnum reference has me relating to some recent firearm purchases. Seems all the handgun rounds are running in the Barnes' airgun power level. Many of these are well known as "hunting" handguns yet the DNR still has problems allowing airguns for game animals.
