Joe, I'm not Gary and I've never made a knife before, but I thinks that's BOSS!by Griffin - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Here's a little bit of info. If you're like me it just brings more to mind. But here it is anyways. This seems to be a topic of interect everywhere at the moment. ... Not trying to take the discussion from here. Maybe this will bring more info to light and kick start the chatting. Nice Gary. That works. To be honest I really liked the first pics you showed and then didn't care for the first pics with the brass colored sleeve over the barrel. But this looks great. I like it. I'm a huge fan of the "pennsylvania" long rifles and their look, so this is right up my alley. Any thoughts on offering these in a BIG bore, like maybe a 4 bore or something stupid like that? Hey all, I thought I'd throw this out there for you all to see. It's not quite Barnesian, but not bad considering it's the first of its type from me. It's for the fore end of a Benjamin Discovery. The guy it's for is a BIG guy, like 6'6" and 350lbs or something, so he wanted something to fit his hand. So it is large. It's from a piece of walnut I had laying around. You'll see a few holes in itby Griffin - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
That's AWESOME! Definitely one to post on the fridge!by Griffin - The Target Trophy Lodge
Pretty country. I love the pines like that. We've got places that look like that in Eastern Washington, but not here on the wet west side. I'd dig moving to an area that looks like that but the misses won't have it. So I get to visit instead. Why no pics of a squirrel taken by the DS? Thanks for the picsby Griffin - The Hunting Camp
I too want to thanks those who've served. It's their effort that has allowed me to have the choices and freedoms I have. Including the choice to not serve. This might sound odd, but many countries force you to serve and I'm very thankful to be given the choice. I also want to thank those who have family members serving or who have served, I'm not sure their sacrifice is less than those out and abby Griffin - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Only 200 yards? Weak sauce! Now if you had spent all that money on a "real gun" then you could have shot something much farther out and you wouldn't have missed the first shot. Oops, this isn't a powder burning forum! Nice shot!! That's mighty impressive. Both the shooting and the fact that an "airgun" is acurate that far out.by Griffin - The Hunting Camp
So what'd you spend all your time on Gary? That looks like about 15 minutes of work. Surely you've got that programmed into a computer and just put a piece of any ole metal in there and hit the button. Just Joshin. That's awesome. Really nice. And that's coming from someone who's seriously picky about stuff like this. Question for you, roughly how long do you have into those two pieces? I'by Griffin - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

Great job Neil. That's a critter I've wanted to go get for a long time. I got to see one when I was down there, but I didn't have a clue as to what it was. Later on in life I was checking out supressors online (dangerous place) at sub-silentsuppressors.com (I don't know this guy, but it's an interesting site) and he had some videos of them out hunting for them thar possums. There were numerousby Griffin - The Hunting Camp
Gary, This whole thing makes me chuckle, but only because it wasn't my place. Not a haha chuckle, more of a I can't believe that happened chuckle. Nature is a powerful force, and this was just a Robin. Wow! I'm glad you ended it and now can take a "break". If you're anything like me you probably just want to get back to the shop with no distractions. Thanks for the story and the pics.by Griffin - The Hunting Camp
Good work Gary! So, my question is which is nuttier, the bird acting crazy or the man the bird drove to modify his gun, house, schedule, et cetera to stop it? Gotta ask the tough questions!by Griffin - The Hunting Camp
Gary, I'm not what you call tech savy. I had to go get my much better half to show me how to do it. They should be up now. Like I said, if I can see it I can build it, but electronics have me bamboozled. I can wire a house, but computers, ha ha, way over my head. Like that with cars too. If there's an issue I take it apart and see what isn't right. Now they're so dependant on computers that I'by Griffin - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Well, I guess we've been callled to task. I'm just lazy, that's my excuse. These pics were taken in November I think. My in-laws are horse people (shows I have no sense, marrying into that family!) and they've got a nice place with an arena that has a bunch of stalls and then has a small barn with 2 stalls. One of the stalls in the small barn was converted into a chicken run that has a hole cuby Griffin - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Great story Neil. Beautiful country. As much fun as it is to be "successful" I'm often reminded of something Jeff Cooper quoted in one of his books, "One does not hunt in order to kill. One kills in order to have hunted." To me there's nothing better than spending a day out of doors with some good peeps. If you get a chance to shoot some stuff and bring home some food, well that's even betby Griffin - The Hunting Camp
I love the Pygmy kits. They're located only about 2 hours from me and a couple of years ago my wife and I wandered into their showroom while taking a long weekend. Awesome place. Cool people and fantastic boats. They'll actually let you take one of their boats out to test it if you go to visit them and schedule ahead of time. We didn't take one out, but I got to drool a bit. Gary and Tofaz, My assumption was that he's running a 6,000# nitrogen tank, but I don't know. I don't have any desire to run anything that high so I really don't care. That booster pumps that some guys are running can go to 5,000#s, so maybe some of them go higher. If you click on the link above about Jerod's gun he mentions booster pumps. I think both Gary and Cedric hit the nail on the heby Griffin - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Sounds great Gary, It's always the last little bit that takes forever and wears on me. Whatever I'm building always starts in a flurry and the basic framework and shape get done and then the details come in. I love the detail work more than anything, but sometimes I get bored of whatever project I'm on and need to do something else for a while first. It's gotta feel good to get all that stuby Griffin - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

Peter (and all) Jerod's gun is a VERY modified Haley .457 and his operating pressure is 5700 psi. I know that sounds bonkers, but that's what he claims and Jack Haley is on that forum a lot and hasn't ever said otherwise. Here's a link to a thread about it - Not that I want to direct anyone away from here, but here's what's being said about this gun. I will warn you that his posts are aby Griffin - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
I'm with you Gary. Pictures would be awesome. Sounds incredible Dannyby Griffin - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Beautiful Neil. I'm sure everyone tells you this a lot, but your place is fantastic. How fast is your falcon shooting? Ultimately that's only part of the equation though. You sure do know your guns and can make them do what they're supposed to. Thanks for sharing.by Griffin - The Hunting Camp

My first airgun was a crossman 1377. I got it for Christmas when I was maybe 10 or 12. I loved that thing. Funny things is, it's also a big part of what got me back into airguns and I'm now 30. My dad was looking for a way to get rid of critters in his garden in a fairly quiet manner and ended up on airgundepot.com and came across some stuff and so I started checking out what they had. Great to hear from you Alex. This is the best part of the www. The fact that it is truly world wide. I love to hear the ideas and different ways of doing different things from different parts of the world. Thanks Alex.by Griffin - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Inexpensive? I certainly hope that was a joke seeing which forum this comment is on. I suppose they could be cheaper if you went with one of the break barrels or a pumper, but how many of us red blooded American GUYS (men? or little boy that got bigger?) can stay with the small stuff? I'm sure there are some out there, but I'm not one of them. Oh, and Gary, no knock on your forum or on you youby Griffin - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
